Should have bought when weather was cooler.
Just a cautionary tail. Don't order live anything in the heat of summer. I lost only 3 shrimp. I was the very last stop of the night for the post. He probably had it sitting on his dash all day. Water in the bag was hot and smelled. These guys did a great job packaging the shrimp and tried to add an ice pack. But 8 amano shrimp are happy in their new tank munching on hair algie. They are on the small side but they grow quickly and eat hair algie at this age better. Thanks guys good job.

Alive and well! But small, and LOW ph.
Packaged very nicely. Arrived cool touch. All 10 (11 actually) alive and very active. First thing i did was test the water they arrived in PH level. Glad I did. My test is showing 6.0 +/- which could be on purpose to offset the ammonia accumulation from shipping... my water is around 7.4. So im doing a slow drip to get them acclimated. Also a bit younger/smaller than I thought they would be. I'll have to keep them separated from the real tank for a bit (i was hoping not to have to do) and let them grow or they might just get eaten. I have little ghost shrimp in already, and they are even smaller then them. Maybe a touch over 1/2 inch. But overall pleased with my order. First time buying anything live from amazon.. what a crazy world.

Awesome shrimp
Mine are now having their own babies!!! I couldn't get Amano shrimp to arrive alive, but I got 11/10 alive on this order. Older than the others I got and great.

Arrived in perfect condition.
I got these shrimp to clean up the hair algae in my tank. It took them a few weeks to eat it all but they eventually ate every bit of that hair algae. They are healthy and active. They are clear in color. The value for the money is good. I will purchase again in the future if needed.

You'll get 3 large shrimp upon 10 ordered
I ordered 20 for nearly $80. Received exactly 20 shrimp. All alive. I did expect a little more for what delivered. Only 2 or 3 were larger in 2 packages. Many were small.I won't buy again

The shrimp are awesome!
I'm happy with the shrimp that survived the trip, the one's that died were not the seller's fault as I believe they were left in a shipping vehicle too long, when the box arrived it was very warm and it only sat on my covered porch for about 30 seconds. I think 6 of the 11 shrimp were alive on arrival, I quickly put the survivors (and I kept the dead ones in a separate heated tank as well in case some pulled through) One did pull through, but 2 more of the live shrimp passed the next morning. After all was said and done I had 6 remaining survivors, which are all doing very well. I noticed this morning that one was very egged up and am happy with that. I will use this seller again for sure, I've bought live stuff a few times now and I understand that even with the best shipping and packaging methods, that sometimes you lose a few. I am not upset about that at all. I'll try to upload pics when I get around to it, I do have them. (Again, if you're new to buying live animals and think that my 5 star review is strange, let me explain: If you think that ALL of the live things you order online will survive, you're in for a bad time. IT IS EXTREMELY RARE - They are live animals after all... I appreciate the plight of the seller, and do not mind at all that some didn't survive, I'm very happy with the ones that did and they are 45 days in their tank and doing awesome, that's all that matters in my book!)

Hmmm 🤔
The media could not be loaded. Well pretty sure my fish just had a $32.00 snack the shrimp were so tiny. I tried releasing them into the plastic bucket I use for cleaning my fish tank hoping I could grow them in there until larger. I could only get one to come out with water tried several times to flush them out using some of my tank water but they kept sticking to the bag finally had to turn off the light in my 20 gallon tank and hope for the best. Never again I’ll go to Aquarium in the future. The shrimp did arrive alive and very active. I have to question whether there were actually 10 didn’t look like 7 but maybe very tiny and pretty much see through. 🙅🏼♀️

Small, delayed, but healthy
The media could not be loaded. I was biting my nails with these guys. The plus one must have gotten eaten along the way by the other 10. Despite being sent priority mail, which is supposed to take 2 to 3 business days, the Post Office delayed them over a week at a sorting hub.VENDORS, YOU CAN'T COUNT ON USPS.I had another order at the same time of aquarium plants (different vendor) and went to my local office to see what the hell was going on. I live in a very hot climate. I was freaking panicked by now.The plants appeared magically that day. They were shipped regular ground. They were mush. The next morning, the shrimp were hand delivered by the Carrier Routes Supervisor at my local branch office. I made a joke about "Schrödinger's shrimp," and took the box inside nervously. I was pleasantly shocked to find that they were not only still alive, but buzzing about the bag actively. I quickly got them into a bag to acclimate. It's been several months. I still see one every now and then. They are growing slowly. They seem to prefer foraging on leftover food and biofilm on the Driftwood instead of helping with hair algae. The plague continues.I was thinking of taking another plan of attack with some SAEs, but the internet hive mind seems to suggest that those will just eat my snails rather than the algae. Now, I'm thinking of getting some other biofilm feeders such as neon gobies and additional non-amano shrimp to force the amanos to focus on their own niche.
