KANEElectric Pet Heat Mat - Thermostatic 18x28

I’m very pleased with the quality and function of this heating mat. It’s very well made and easy to clean. I had a minor issue with mine at first but the company couldn’t have responded and resolved the problem any quicker. They were very friendly and professional as well as concerned with my 100% satisfaction. KANE makes a great product and I would definitely recommend it. I use mine for keeping my 2 tortoises warm in the Winter. It keeps the temp up without burning my torts. It’s easy to program as well. This is a great investment.

Price is high but product is worth it. Keeps the Tort house warm.

My sulcata tortoises love this heat mat. I have an outdoor enclosure made for them and they put them self to sleep on top of this mat.

Temperature control is nice.

This is my 5th Kane mat. Per usual, the mat is great. However the new TD-30 thermostat is HORRIBLE. It doesn’t keep temp, it is difficult to set and it beeps like crazy. I contacted company and after a week of back and forth-nothing. Don’t waste your money because it is worthless yet oh so pricey. Kane Heat Mats-do better and quit selling this piece of garbage.Edit. The mat shorted out because water got inside from hiding it off and drying it quickly. Kane fixed and resealed it.

So far easy to clean and durable. Steady warming action, but unsure of initial beeping during warm up.

This has worked really really well for my litter of 8 puppies. I do feel that it should be offered with the cover since I had to send to the manufacturere to get it.

I bought this for my 100 lb tortoise. From the very beginning he would not get on it. After 3 days alarms started going off on it and the temperature started rising. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in it would not start heating again. I don't need this kind of headache!
