This is very easy to read and has the benefit that it can be fixed in a number of places on the stove and is not limited to the flue. I wasn't sure how useful these thermometers were but having used it for a bit I do find that it gives you peace of mind especially if you are concerned about overheating damaging your stove fan.

It’s ok, doesn’t have any protective cover over the dial. Seems to work fine nevertheless

This appears to be a quality thermometer that works well on my stove, The only slight criticism I have is that the numbers indicating the temperature could have been more clear. My stove and pipe is set back in an alcove so I have to bend over the stove to read the numbers, having said that I'm quite content overall with the product.
