ASE Test Preparation - A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems (Ase Test Preparation Series) 5th Edition

I bought the book to study for my recertification. First time in 40 years I studied for the ASE tests. I found the book to be a good tool to help me pass my test. The books tests were good. I would recommend this and the other books to everyone. I plan to purchase more books in the series for the mechanics at work. Help them study and pass also

These test prep study guides are great, but you have to remember that they are nothing more than that- just test prep and study guides. The Delmar study guides have helped me successfully pass all of my ase tests (a1, a4, a5, a6) the first time I took them. Let me offer a piece of advise though: If your still have your text books from your auto studies at vo-tech, pull them back out and read over the chapters that cover the topics in these test. If you don't have them, hop online and get a good text book, I use "automotive fundamentals" by Martin W Stockel. In conjunction with a text book, these study guides offer i well put together crash course in the information on the tests, as well as 5 practice tests that come with the answers ans explanations in the back which I found to be a helpful source of extra information as well.

Use this to study, however! Don’t try to just memorize the book. Understand what you’re reading, you have to understand Electrical to be able to pass the ASE. This is a good book, while none of the practice questions are on the ASE test they are similar that’s why you need to understand to pass. Without this book and other study material I wouldn’t of been able to pass my Electrical

This book is worth every penny and more. I am studying for the ASE A6 Electrical examination. Electrical is my weakest auto technician area and this book is stuffed with questions and answered. I am sure I'll see a lot of them on the test, or at least almost the same as in the book. Most importantly I know what they are looking for in an answer. It also has a cross reference to the test study areas of the exam. I'm going to buy the who series ! I'm a tough rater, but this is 5 STARS !

I passed my test

Ordered these to get a little in depth coverage of this particular ASE test. I am pleased with the coverage of material and the presentation.The only draw back to these would be if you aren't already very familiar with the work, and if you are a "grammar nazi" because there a few typo's and it may sound silly, but they distract me the first read through. Not a big deal, just saying.
