Their web site & this page says "hand crafted" in the usa, but that could mean just assembled in usa. where are the feathers /materials sourced from?

it also is not made by the original company GoCat. if you scrol down to the description it says ‎ A.C. Kerman - Pet Products. all the real ones say go cat.

How does it attach on? Can the string be replaced too?

There is a clasp at the end of the string to attach the bird. The string can’t be replaced. My cat loves the birds and after a while bites off all the feathers.

Does this spin when you pull it through the air like the Super Refill?

The hook is the same so it can turn. However it does not spin exactly like the Super due to its shape. My cats prefer it to the Super (which they also love) though. Wild Thing is definitely their favorite.
