Q: Where is the manufacturer's fitting guidelines to find the right holster for a given pistol?

The size is in the description for each size. The size is for waist not carry. Made for sub-compacts and compacts.

Q: What country is this made in.

I see that someone referred to the site for smartcarry. This is NOT a SmartCarry brand as noted, but a brand that has no website and, according to one corporation page, went out of business in 2012. I thought all products must state the country of origin, but apparently this one doesn't.I may have to pay $20 more for the real brand, as recommended to me by trainers and LE. I don't know where or when these DTOM items were made.

Q: Will this holster work with a j frame snubby ?

This is a hella late reply - just going through my inbox.... This holster WILL work for any J-frame revolver. They advertise i as being able to fit full size guns but they print through the material and actually ruin the holster. Hope that helps...Again sorry for the late reply I turned off notifications.

Q: what size waist does this fit?

I would say that it is best designed for someone with waist up to 38-44 inches. I am large...48 in waist...and it DOES work for me (stays fastened securely and is very comfortable) - BUT - I wish that I didn't have to stretch it so much to fit. Don't misunderstand - it IS designed to stretch enough to fit someone like me...but for my size, the elastic has to be stretched fairly near its limits.
