Works as Advertised!!
Works as intended!!My cheap bidet lost the little flap that covers the spray nozzles down into the toilet drain. This thing took a little over two minutes of finagling around inside the toilet drain before I got the **** cover out!I'm super impressed.Did exactly as advertised!10/10

Cheaply made
This item broke after a couple tries of unclogging the toilet. The metal coil started unraveling off the auger. The claw stopped clawing after a few tries of unclogging the toilet. And the claw started bending. The handle grasp is weak.

Works great!
Had a Clorox wand scrubber get detached and stuck in the back of the toilet where I couldn’t reach it with my hand. Read on internet how to get it and suggested a hand auger or snake. I read this here but also tried to check out a local hardware store and they didn’t have a grabber. I ordered this last night and woke up to find it at my door at 7am. After church, I opened the package and practiced squeezing it to make sure it works. What I read and there was instructions on the package , is to carefully thread the snake in the toilet until you need resistance then squeeze the trigger and pull out. I was concerned about the scratching from oreciois post and thought maybe I should get a plastic sleeve over the metal but it wasn’t necessary. There is a red plastic around the metal grabber so I carefully tried not to touch the toilet until it was far back where you can’t see it just in case it scratches. It only took about 20’swconds to get it and retrieve it and pull it out! I had reached out to a plumber yesterday and I’m glad he didn’t respond otherwise I just saved myself $200! For this price under $3, it’s worth the $$$ to have in your home tool box. And I’m happy that they delivered it to me between 4:30-7am option.

It worked
I couldn’t get my toilet unstopped so I ordered this and it saved me from having to call a plumber. A bar of soap fell into the toilet and got stuck. I didn’t know what had it clogged until I pulled the soap out piece by piece. The only negative thing that I can say about this tool is that it can scratch up the inside of the toilet, but I guess it was worth it.

It’s awesome
This product was so amazing, I couldn’t believe how easy it was to use until I tried it. The directions were perfect and once you get over the fear of trying to be a make shift plumber hahaha you’ll be ok.It unclogged my toilet in less than 5 minutes and it only took that long because I was really nervous trying to remove the item at first.I’d recommend every household to buy and keep it for the just incase emergency.I absolutely love it!!!!

Worked great
My toddler put his toys in the toilet and flushed them. I was able to use this to retrieve the several toys that were not accessible by hand.

Too flimsy to avoid immediate breakage.
The concept seems sound to me, but its execution in this product mismatched (1) a barely sufficient grabbing claw at the 'working end' with (2) a fully sufficient wire cable connecting it to (3) utterly insufficient clasping handles needing to be squeezed together by the user to pull on the cable that closed the claw on the other end. The primary problem was that the cable anchor at the handle end, which had to be squeezed to draw the claw closed on the working end, easily pulled through a totally flimsy plastic anchoring plate unfit for purpose, which kept the cable from pulling the claw closed when a hand of the user clasped the handles together, thus making the entire product useless for its intended use. Unfortunately I bought another of these before using the first and it is too late to return either.
