Golden Books Richard Scarry's Best Nursery Tales Ever

This book is great for my 2+ YO. The bedtime stories are as I remember and the animation keep her interested and looking at things - great for kids that love detail and talking through scenes. I also love reading it with/to her!

My grandson just loves Richard Scarry. His Mum had this book as a child and wanted to keep her original book in good condition, so when this was re-published this year I bought it. It has a couple of extra stories in there, but is still the same read and good For an English audience.

My baby boy loves listening to the book

I love Richard Scarry, since I was a kid. I bought this one for my almost 2 year old however I returned it. It has the more scary old school fairy tales, the ones where the wolf is trying to eat the children and similar. There were only two stories that weren’t too scary for my little one. Definitely not appropriate for young children so I purchased a different Richard Scarry book instead. I don’t have room to store a book that she can’t read for many years yet. I would recommend this book for older children. The pictures are beautiful and engaging, as is typical of Richard Scarry books.

Nice book, but not my favourite Richard Scary book. Could have some better stories instead of a few that were picked. But it is still an ok book to read for story time.
