Without use, this bag appears *great*
I just opened this package 10 minutes ago, so I would first like to say I have no experience using this with water or rain or mud. I was a little skeptical buying something so expensive with no reviews or ratings, and with very little information out there on how it performs. I also couldn't even decipher how the bag works from the picture on any websites. So I'd like to be the first to describe it in detail for those who are wondering, and I'll likely update this soon after it sees use.So first, this is a roll-top closure water-resistant bag. It is made from poly-oxford canvas and rubber. The roll-top is not the kind that buckles together over the top, but once you roll the seam over a few times, then attach the velcro, it buckles down to each end of the duffel, and then 2 straps go over the top at the handles. The dimensions of the removable rigid base, are 12"x22.5". This makes the total bottom dimension something around 13"x23.5". The height when unrolled is 21.5", and when rolled up with the minimum size load, it is about 11" tall. This yields the volume of the bag from the website, which is about 3200 cubic inches. The exterior of the bag is tan, with the ends being un-canvased rubber. The handles are stitched straps all the way to the base, but not under. They are 1.5" straps, with 1" straps stitched in underneath (the ones that go over the sealed roll-top). The side roll-top closure straps are also 1.5" straps, which attach to a well-reinforced canvas patch on the rubber sides. On the front side of the bag is a velcro-shut mesh pocket, which is clearly not water-resistant. There are also 2 plastic "rings" (for lack of a better word) where the should straps may attach, stitched into the handle strap, right below the last stitching before the handle departs from the bag. There is one more "ring" on the back of the bag, where the shoulder strap can be assumed to cross over from one of the front rings. This seems to be the only way to attach the shoulder-strap, which isn't from end to end, and makes it a little awkward, but it works just fine. The buckles on the bag are nothing special, but also don't seem to be too cheap. The seams are listed as all heat-sealed and taped, and I looked pretty well around all of them and couldn't find any faults except some barely frayed canvas edges. The inside of the bag has 2 zippered-mesh pockets, taking up about half of each inside wall (the long side). Again, there is a rigid plastic base made of pretty thick plastic. Last, the shoulder strap is pretty good looking, with a thick adjustable shoulder pad, and length adjustable between 30"-56".Hopefully this review helps some people to get better information about this bag. Again, this is the small, and I haven't used it, but I hope to get the large as well, since I do a lot of truck camping and could use a bag for the roof that seals well and doesn't need to be worried about.- Cheers!

Great Dry Bag
These bags are great. I use them all the time for camping. They’ve gone through several monsoon rainstorms and kept my gear completely dry.

Great bag for hauling gear on a roof rack
I have been using waterproof duffel bags for years, and this is my new favorite! This bag is very well built and perfect for hauling your gear on a roof rack. The no zipper design makes it easy to load / unload your gear, and then when rolled and snapped closed there is no chance of rain water getting in while on the roof rack.

Quality is good but inaccurate picture.
The bag is awesome but the way it opens is weird. It’s like a folding airtight bag. Like the mouth of it rolls to close. Cool but strange and for regular use it’s impractical.
