Bought this for my car to have extra cushion beneath me after breaking my tailbone. That injury was a long time ago but long trips with prolonged sitting can refresh the discomfort of that injury. This pad is wonderful and has reduced the pain I used to feel after long trips. It comes with a washable cover and is easy to take with you to use in other places. I have taken it to use on a plane, on stadium seating etc. A great value for the money.I should have purchased this a long, long, long time ago. It’s been so helpful for me.

I have siatica and sitting can be a real pain. This DOES NOT CURE it, but it does make sitting much more comfortable. I mostly use this in my vehicle. I don't want to be shifting around in my seat when I need to be keeping my eyes on the road. This cushion makes it much more comfortable and for me eliminates the pain while driving.

I got this for sitting at the computer for long periods as my legs kept going numb in my chair. This so far has helped reduce my leg numbness and how fast the numbness sets in. I do sit cross-legged in a chair, so generally my legs go numb kinda quickly, but that time-frame is much longer using this cushion. I will note however if you're looking for a soft cushion this isn't it. It's a waffled pattern gel, so it moves side to side slightly as you turn and move, but there's very little squish down. It's comfy, but not squishy. Also you're raised up about 1.5"-2", so note that you might need to adjust your chair or table height.But overall it's been a game changer for long stints of sitting at the computer!

Due to a medical condition my wife is forced to remain sitting for long periods of time. This gel pad has worked extremely well to reduce the discomfort she had experienced prior to its purchase. The thick pad seems to give just the right amount of support-to-comfort ratio she needs. I would buy again.

The best I can say is it is a very slight improvement. It certainly isn't worse.It's just too soft. You can fully crush it with your hands, so needless to say under full body weight, its not doing much. I am thinking about grabbing one from the 'more expensive' brand to see if those are any different. But this isn't great.One or the other will get returned. I guess we'll find out later. But for now I don't know if all of these mats are the same, or if there is some difference from one brand to the next. What I do know is that this one didn't perform as expected.***UPDATE***I bought the 'name brand' version that costs ~$100ish after being disappointed with this one. I have them both here as I type. The name brand one is vastly superior. It is thicker, denser and more comfortable. SO if you're on the fence and can afford the other one, just save yourself some headache and do that. While it may not be 3x better as the price is 3x more.. It is at least twice as good. I'll be returning this one and keeping the 'name brand' one.

Great size and comfort

This is perfect! I sit and watch my daughter play softball and the bleachers are hard. Can sit on this for hours and still be comfortable. Since she is out of state, I fly with this as well. Fits perfectly into airline seat and makes the long hauls better! I can fold this up and put in my backpack.

I’m a big fan of SelectSoma products, so I wanted to try this cushion out. I also have one of the Purple seat cushions and was hoping this would be a comparable alternative at a more affordable price. This cushion is thicker than the Purple cushion and this gel grid is much stiffer. I weigh about 118 pounds, so my opinion might be different if I was a bit heavier. It’s still a nice cushion and it works, just not as comfortable as the Purple cushion.
