Beautiful and Practical Teapot
This is the perfect teapot. I've been using it for years, and it’s still going strong. The volume is great for a few cups, and it's super easy to clean. I especially love the transparent design. It makes brewing tea with fruits and berries more fun and visually appealing. A great gift for any tea lover!

So far so good
Liked the fact it could be used with an induction cooktop. We've used it a few times and it works good. Took a star off for a small chip in the handle.

Love it!
**EDIT (2023) - been using this for over 5 years now and still love it. My partner carved me a new lid handle out of wood (isn't it cute?) and the lid stopped getting stuck eventually. I no longer boil the water in it (because the side handle would get too hot), just boil it separately and pour it in over the tea (which is better for steeping), but I do sometimes reheat the tea on the stove. An occasional deep cleaning with barkeeper's friend or baking soda keeps everything stain free and sparkling clean! Still looks good as new (well perhaps even better <3 ).ORIGINAL (2019) -Pros-BeautifulConvenientKeeps tea hotNo need for both a kettle and a tea pot. 2-in-1!Durable. I use it on a daily basis. Owned it for well over a year now.Cons-The lid/knob gets pretty hot. I have to open it with a towel or else I'll get burned by hot metal and steam. Also the lid sometimes gets stuck if you don't place it in straight. It's only an issue when it's hot because, well, it's hot, and stuck, and a tad tricky to remove with a towel. But this is kinda minor. Doesn't happen often. Also there always ends up a tiny bit of liquid that refuses to pour out because of the lip/edge between the metal bottom and glass upper body. Isn't really an issue though. It gets out easy enough while rinsing/washing if you hold the pot open and upside down and shake it a bit (but I'm obviously not going to do that when pouring tea!)So I would say it would be a 10/10 if they redesigned the lid. For now it's 9/10. To be honest, I could probably find a little knob that's thermally resistant and replace the one that's on the teapot now. I'm just too lazy :PWould recommend.

Leaked!
We purchased this teapot because we have an induction range. The teapot is adorable, but the glass pot is not continuous. The glass ends just inside the metal base, and that seam failed the first time we used it. Having already disposed of the box, there's no way to return it.

If you are boiling water in this, you are using it wrong!
I have been using 800ml teapot for years now, it has been great, no complaint. Hence five starts. Recently I dropped it and the handle got a crack, so came back to order a new one.I noticed in the questions and reviews sections lots of people using or intending to use this tea pot to boil water in it. But it is not meant to boil water! It is a tea pot, not a kettle. You boil water separately in a tea kettle. Then you pour the boiling water into this tea pot where you already had placed tea leaves at its strainer. Then wait until tea steeps, pour and drink your tea. I do think using these glass teapot for boiling water directly on an oven range is misuse, and the main reason I wrote this review. Enjoy your tea!

This thing is much smaller then it looks, it's very nice but it's TINY
Ummm Well you DO get what you pay for but this thing is very small and it's kind of... How should I say, cheap? Crappy? Totally made out of tin foil and the thinnest glass I have ever see? I mean really thin metal, very lightweight, honestly feels like it's made of heavy duty aluminum foil I would say be very very careful with it lol, I took it out of the box and was kind of scared to even set it on the counter, it felt like it might just implode. I just kind of expected a little better quality and I figured out the size in "standard" measurements before I bought it but I was still a little surprised by how small it is, don't figure on getting a lot of time out of this thing it's gonna be totally ruined just from the weight of it's own crappyness... I don't know who's hand that is in the picture of it but either a child or a dwarf, be aware this thing is small.
