Top Budget fitness tracker of 2021 (sub Β£50)
The media could not be loaded. The mi band 6 is brilliant and you would be hard pressed to find a tracker better under the Β£50 price mark. I did extensive research, and besides the Huawei band 6 ( which is slightly more pricey), the mi band 6 gives you the best bang for your buck. The screen is exceptional quality, with a brightness of 4.5 nits. I have never had an issue with the screen, and it looks beautiful, although after a while you do start to notice the bessels, but they are significantly smaller than that of the 5. You can set any photo you wish as your watch screen, which is a huge plus. The functionality is amazing. I mostly use mine for step counting and cycling, and the odd gym exercise, and I can safely say the tracking won't disappoint, although if your expecting accuracy to the metre, this isn't for you. There are also 30 workout modes which really add to the appeal, but really only if you have an interest in obscure activities. The interface is instructive and fully customisable, except the icons themselves. The ability to have multiple icons on one screen makes for a far improved user experience, and the multi-directional swiping from the watch face makes it feel far less cramped. The app is brilliant for basic uses, but since mi fit and Xiaomi wear each have their own draw backs and advantages it's worth testing each, but even so both are useable. Now for the drawbacks, and for those who aren't needlessly picky the issues I have are few and far between. First off the PAI has an unusual issue where the day doesn't change sometimes, but this can be fixed in an update.Secondly, there's no 24/7 SpO2 monitoring, but that can't be expected at this price point. Thirdly, the battery life, with no features turned on or used whatsoever is amazing, but in reality if you're buying this watch, you probably intend to use these. With a decent screen brightness that doesn't leave you squinting, and tracking features that make the watch worthwhile, this cuts from about two weeks to just over 5 days. This isn't the worst in the world though, and you can always cut back on features on a week away to ensure it lasts. On the whole this is a top fitness tracker on a budget, if not the best, but if you can afford the Huawei band 6 I would suggest giving that a look too.

Really fantastic smart watch, but strap doesn't like my skin π’
I absolutely love the watch and can't fault it at all, other than I am still trying to get it to link to the camera shutter on my Redmi note 10 Pro, but I have only had it a few days so I'll find a way eventually. The display is fabulous and measurements are very accurate when compared with my oximeter, so I am very happy with it so far. Text messages are really clearly displayed and the vibration alert is a godsend as I often don't hear the phone. However I am having problems with the strap, which is a bit fiddly to fasten, but my wife helps with that, and it is making me itch to the point of having to take it off to stop it. I started with my left arm and after a couple of days swapped to the right once the itch started. Now I have had to take it off there too as it was driving me mad. It calms down after an hour or so and I have been keeping everything clean and dry as I know that sweat can be a problem with silicone bands, but it's still causing problems. I can only wear a conventional watch for short periods as they cause a lot of skin problems, usually from the metal contact, but I had hoped that as there's no metal on the smart band and it's not a cheap copy or replacement one, I would have been OK with it. So although my photo doesn't really show much, try to imagine how much it is itching while I try to imagine that I am still wearing the watch, it feels like I am at least π’. There's probably nothing wrong with the whole thing and quality and performance wise I really can't complain at all, it's a fantastic product and particularly for the crazy price. I have had the phone a couple weeks as well, the camera is incredible at this price and I'm completely blown away by that too hence going for the matching watch, so a bit upset that I have a slight issue with the strap at the moment. I am sure I will find a solution to the problem with a bit of frantic searching online and I am sure I am not the only person who is itchy, then I can carry on enjoying brilliant little device and also the app to go with it, which I haven't mentioned in detail as I am still learning about it myself, but so far is really good. The off-putting thing is the fact that it needs access to absolutely everything on your phone to work correctly with the band, but it all depends on what you want it to do so you can restrict some things if you don't you want to use them.. To sum it up, if you are thinking about a really great product and don't want to spend a fortune then you can't go wrong with the Xaiomi and, as with their phones, you will get a flagship quality product for a bargain basement price. Some people say that you get what you pay for and think that it is necessary to spend a fortune to buy a " good" one and if you want, or need to have a an expensive one then that's fine, but don't waste the extra money on the name because these are, in my humble opinion, going to be just as good and you can save the extra money for your other designer goods and prosecco π.
