Fort Knox of Magnetic Bug Screen Doors!
Just finished installing this and was so impressed I wanted to write a review. My wife and I have been installing these magnetic screen doors since they came out years ago. We always stop by the Big Box store and grab several from the "As Seen On TV" aisle on the way to check out. Frankly, we loved the simplicity, and being able to keep our doors open. They weren't perfect at keeping bugs out (maybe 95%), and they didn't fare well against the boys (Heeler and a Mal)...but we loved them despite these flaws. But now this thing comes along, feeling and installing like the FORT KNOX of magnetic bug screen doors! Holy Smokes is this thing worth the extra cash I spent on the upgrade. The door is velcro sealed all the way around the edges (we don't seal the bottom 15"-18" to give a "buffer" of flexibility when the boys mad dash thru it - hmm perhaps a stickable magnetic strip along the bottom 6" to "catch" the end after flapping in the next version), making it very bug resistant. And the seam between the two sides snaps together tight. The magnets are sewn in, unlike the old style which were prone to getting broken and lost. When you push thru these doors, they feel substantially stronger and more significant than the old style, and the mesh is finer. I suspect even the No-Seeums will bounce off. Finally, we both like the tie back straps they have built in. There are times when you want to close your regular door. In our case that door is where we have our dog door mounted. We are able to tie the screen doors back when the house door is shut so the dogs can still get in and out without causing undue wear between the two. With the exception of the magnetic end strip upgrade I'm about to do myself, there's nothing I'd change about this product.

Perfect for Hands-Free Entry and Keeping Bugs Out!
I am absolutely thrilled with the Original Flux Phenom Magnetic Screen Door! This screen door is a game-changer for anyone looking for a hands-free, bug-free solution to let fresh air in while keeping pests out. The easy installation was a breeze—no tools required, and the instructions were clear, making it quick to set up.The magnetic closure works flawlessly, ensuring that the door automatically seals shut after walking through, keeping bugs outside and allowing for a smooth hands-free entry every time. The magnet strength is incredibly strong, so there’s no worrying about the door accidentally opening in windy conditions. I also love the self-sealing mesh design, which means no gaps, and everything stays securely in place. What really impressed me is that this door is pet-tested. My dog loves running in and out, and the screen has held up beautifully, even with him coming and going multiple times a day. The durability is outstanding, and the material is tough enough to withstand my pet without any rips or tears.I’ve used this screen on my front door, and it’s been a lifesaver during the summer months. The 38”x82” size fit perfectly, and it lets in just the right amount of air without allowing flies or mosquitoes inside. Plus, it’s a great value with how effective it is at keeping insects out and how easy it is to use.Overall, I highly recommend the Flux Phenom Magnetic Screen Door for anyone looking for a convenient, effective solution to enjoy the outdoors without the hassle of bugs. It’s practical, well-made, and definitely worth every penny!

Excellent Screen & Magnets with minor gripe
Install was easy & plenty of strong velcro. However the tacks are super fragile and break, they were also not generous with the tacks. Because of this you are short on placed tacks when you are done. So I wish I had better and or more tacks. Also stinks I bought two full price last week and now they are $7 off each, so that sucks. The doors themselves are strong, snap back and are holding up to pets and kids very well.

Works great, seems very sturdy, easy for kids to use
We got this screen to replace a sliding screen door after a friend walked through our screen door and totaled it. My expectations were pretty low, and it still does feel like a temporary solution, but so far it is working great. It is super easy for our kids to go through and it closes on its own, with the occasional need for minor jostling on the bottom to get the last magnet pair to close. Even our two-year-old has no issues, whereas with the sliding screen door someone would always have to open and close it for her. When I got it out of the package I was worried that it would be really dark and opaque, but it's not - it just looks like a normal screen when it is in place. We got the fiberglass option and it does not have the vertical stripes that I see on the polyester version. The magnets are strong. The drape is fine. I did have to resize it because it was too wide and tall, but a little bit of sewing did the trick. Velcro strength is great - my husband is really tall so the first couple of times he went through it, it was catching on his shoulders but it stayed in place with the Velcro, and he has adjusted so he walks through it at more of a sideways angle now. The screen feels very thick and sturdy. My 5-year-old just blasted through it at a run as I was writing this, and it was unfazed. One of my pictures shows fold marks in the screen - after being in place for maybe 12 hours, the marks are still there but starting to fade and I'm sure they would steam right out. Overall, seems like a great product and I'm glad we got it! Sure beats having no screen door, or paying a ton to get a better sliding screen!
