No problem with fitting or not working.All my bulbs are low wattage led so nothing gets hot enough to meltAmazed folk used these with 100 watt and 150 watt bulbs and complained they melted.

They make the bulb hang lower
Ok so I know that’s obvious but easy to forget; the bulb will sit lower in the lampshade etc.however they are great quality, decent price and they do the job. I got them because I have a load of smart bulbs that didn’t fit my new house but are too expensive to replace directly.

Fit for purpose
The product fits very easily and looks very discrete. I was concerned that it may increase the length of space between the ceiling and the bulb but it only marginally does so.Its is also very stable i.e. the fit is good and it does not rock about.

Does exactly what they were bought for.
Bought some screw in bulbs from IKEA but they didn't have the adapter. Tried several local electrical and hardware shops but they didn't stock them.Item was delivered within 24 hours and does exactly what is required

Well screw me in the bayonet a lifetime supply of adapters
Bought a small ceiling fan and only come with E27 screw fit this was easier than fitting new ceiling socket, cheaper to buy 3 than to get 1 delivered in the same time, so I have 2 spare. Given I have not needed one of these in the last 47 years I suspect I might have a lifetime supply!

Did not fit had to cut end so bulb could reach the connection
