A good read but...
Was really looking forward to the book as I have read all of the others. Disappointed with the ending as it stopped short compared to the actual Freed book 3 . I was looking forward to hearing more about the family and Christians take on things but it ends just 3 months having had their baby son. Whereas in the film Teddy is coming up to his 2nd birthday and Anna is expecting again. Maybe another book in the future????? Lets hope so it would be great .

Boring
I've read all the Fifty Shades series of books. I didn't much like Fifty Shades Freed but I was always going to read Freed when it finally came out and it has been a long wait for it. I had to recap on some of what happened in FSF (as the film doesn't always reflect what's in the book) before starting to read Freed.Unfortunately If I thought FSF was bad, Freed is even worse. There is only so much of 'I love you', 'you're mine', the 'f...' word, etc etc; that you can read and the book is full of it; even the sex became too repetitive throughout. - it's as if ELJ had run out of novel things to write and just used soapy sentiments to fill the book. The only thing worthy of reading were the few 'incidents' - the car chase, the kidnap and extortion, the intrigue about hyde and his criminal activities etc and how these were going to pan out from Grey's point of view, and, the final reveal of his past and the epilogue. I've been thoroughly bored and was glad to finish it - finally. I came close many times to just bin it.If there is a next installment of Grey, i would want to like to see him in action in the past with his subs Leila and Suzanne

Repetitive in places but that’s to be expected. Still worth reading!
I waited a long time for this book, longing to hear from Christians side his thought processes and feelings at certain points and it was fascinating as it wasn’t always what it appeared to be. The book is repetitive on the basis that it is a repeat of the same story and so of course many scenes and dialogue will be read twice. I also struggled because this book I read a long time after I’d watched the film and there is big differences in how the film replays the story although key scenes remain the same but I don’t think that takes anything away from this book. It was good to finally finish the series and I devoured this book in just a couple of days unable to put it down. When I turned the last page I felt quite sad because that was the final book, the films done and Mr and Mrs Grey story comes to a close.I was disappointed this book didn’t extend quite as far as fifty shades freed as in that one we got a glimmer of second pregnancies and Christians forceful nature regarding labour and birth and name choices! It was nice to find a link to the baby girls name though. All in all it’s worth reading and I’ll definitely be doing a whole series reread in the future.

Not worth the long wait.
It's been a long wait for this last book and I'm struggling to get back into it ..... to the point of maybe not bothering. I've moved on.If you haven't then maybe this will give you closure and a chance to venture further into the genre
