It's balanced, a bit far from the handle but quite good. I dislike that the handle has been glued with not precision. You can clearly see and feel that it's not perfectly aligned with the stick and it's really annoying.

I was unsure of the length of this baton, and I would not have gotten it if I knew it was 15 inches long. This is a great baton to use if you are using it for an elementary conducting class. If you plan to conduct ensembles or choirs, I would suggest getting a wooden baton rather than this fiberglass one. The handle on this baton is also a little weird. It is very short and stout, but I was able to make it work. Cheap option for college student.

It is nothing too fancy, but it is functional and halfway decent looking. I got the green one, it in no way looks like a real stone, if that is the look you wanted, it is obviously colored epoxy or plastic or resin. If you are gifting one, get a expensive one, if you just want to drop one on someones stand and say "hey try this", then this is perfect.

Good baton, great colors, but the case for it was broken upon opening. It comes in a cool looking hard tube case inside the Amazon packaging and was broken upon arrival; I gave this as a gift to a coworker and was disappointed to see it broken as soon as it was opened. Everything else was fine, but that really was a disappointment.
