Hansgrohe 14019001 Baseplate Kitchen Fits All, 10 Inch, Chrome

We were replacing a 3-hole kitchen faucet with a 1-hole hansgrohe unit, and so purchased this matching plate to cover up the other holes in the sink. No hard edges in the design - all curves.We - both ourselves and our plumber - were impressed with how solid this piece is, which goes some way to explaining the price. This is not flimsy in any way, and you really feel like it's extremely well made and will last for a good long time.Not easy to impress with a photograph though - you really have to feel it.

This is not your typical baseplate, it is solid and heavy, beautifully chromed and worth every penny of its cost.

Installed this under a Hansgrohe Allego E Prep Sink faucet. This baseplate is like carved artwork...solid, heavy, and likely to look like new in 15 years!The previous faucet (also a single handle unit) had an unimpressive baseplate. The old plate was held in place only by the faucet and caulk. The Hansgrohe unit is secured by not only the faucet, but also hardware through the other two holes in the sink, helping insure no leaks under the baseplate.Note the picture differs slightly from the actual product. In the picture, the front and back edges appear to taper slightly toward the ends, making the center appear a bit deeper. In fact, the front and back edges are parallel to each other.

this is a very useful metal plate to cover up the 8 inch holes for bathroom faucets. The place is made of a solic piece of metal and comes with a rubber gasket. Installation is easy with screws that hold it down through the 8 inch holes. I've purchased 4 of these and am very satisfied.
