Tried this as soon as received on third day hair. My hair is very fine and porous so cannot handle being washed every day. It rarely gets oily due to the porousness but is thinning and flattens. This brush is easy to use and gentle on hair but did a great job of lifting the hair off my scalp and creating a fresh, just washed look. Very happy :)

ALMOST didn’t but this because of the negative reviews, but they are wrong. This is a great product. It really teases volume and smooths it out too. Wish I had this year ago!!

Tried teasing, brushbacking my hair and it barely did anything. Don't get the hype as I watched a video showing how easily it teased a straight haired person, my very thick wavy hair did not have the same effect.

This was a waste of $$'s and the time and energy to purchase, wait for delivery and then try. Not more than what an 'old' fashioned pick or rattail comb would do ..Do NOT waste your $$'s on this item. Sorry

Because I am 89 and my hair is thinning, I have sought a way to give it life and bounce. With this brush, I have found it. Where my hair was just laying against my scalp with a lifeless appearance, I now have life and the desired bounce. Not sure how this brush does it, but with one side it lifts and enlivens my hair. With the other it smooths it into a quite nice style that pleases me enormously. I am not sure how this would work with long hair--mine is short--but, I know that I am more than pleased!

I have very fine, fly away hair. Was hoping to get a little body in it. If you take an old bristle brush and go backwards it's the same effect. It made my hair look like I stuff my finger in a light socket. Took what little body I had and made it stick straight up! Pure static. I'll keep for my Halloween costuming, but won't use the rest of the year. Hard pass.
