The design of this pillow made it work much better than a traditional travel neck pillow! I was able to bend it however necessary to get comfortable. On an airplane, it worked best straight, tucked by my side to lay my head on! Made flying for 10 hours in a middle seat much more comfortable! The snap was strong and attached to my carry on easily!

The foam itself... it is memory foam, but it doesn't remember much. But that's fine. It's still very comfortable foam.You'll probably mostly use it in a U-shape. I do. And that may make the malleable shape seem like a gimmick, but it's not a gimmick. It's very good. The fact that it holds its shape adds a lot for the support of the pillow, much like what you're hoping a large premium memory foam pillow will do. Once it's behind my head, I press my head into "the spot" to make the armature form to hug my head how I want it. What that spot is, will be slightly different for each person. You'll notice that it still makes a U shape, but with some small differences that are important. Your variant on the U will probably be different from mine, depending on where on your head you place it. And even if used just as the classic U, the armature adds some much-needed support that other travel pillows don't have.I have to use it unfastened, or else I can't get it into the spot that I want. I really wish it was longer; part of the support, at least in how I use it, comes from the shoulders, and it needs more length to utilize that to the fullest potential.I'm glad I saw another of the reviews with images. Kudos to them for warning us that it could break easily. Better not twist it, or bend it too sharply. I notice that the outer surface of the foam gets pulled very tight when the core is bent. That's not a good thing. Hopefully, with some extra care, it will last a good long time.Cutting a sausage comes to mind. When you bend a sausage, bends a little, until the tension overcomes the case, and it splits into two pieces. But if you put many shallow cuts into the sausage, then you can bend it quite a lot without it breaking. Perhaps some day, I'll get a second one, and try putting some shallow cuts in the foam to see if that prevents the foam from snapping apart. Maybe they'll even sell one like that, by the time I come back for another.My experience with the kind of foam that's inside of it, is that you shouldn't expose it to heat and you should keep it away from chemicals. And of course, keep it away from moisture and dirt, because the foam is porous and will trap it inside to become a bio hazard.Little ball joint armatures... assuming that's what this uses, will tend to wear out and get loose after a few years. So, that's another reason to be nice to it.If it doesn't break or wear out too fast, then this may be my pillow of choice for the rest of my life. Unless they make a longer one. Then, I'll buy that one every time I need a new one, and I'll be happy about it.I'm happy that I bought this pillow.

Soft, bendable, and great for airplanes. I bought the kid one (I'm an adult) so it would fit better in my backpack. The fabric is soft, the pillow molded exactly how I wanted it to and I was able to get some rest on a recent flight. I typically can't sleep on an airplane; however, this allowed me to snuggle it like a pillow and I was able to doze for a while. As a side/tummy sleeper, this was very much appreciated.

Thanks for that!!I really wanted to like it.I have really bad neck pain because of the arthritis in my vertebrae. I needed something to help with support for my neck while reading, watching tv and car rides.I read the reviews and this sounded like the thing I needed. I loved the idea that it would bend and I could adjust it to fit different areas of my head and neck depending on how I was sitting or lying.Well, I don’t know what people are doing to make this thing work, but it’s the most uncomfortable neck pillow ever.The bar inside is hard and pokes you no matter how you put it. No matter how I bend or adjust this thing it’s hideously uncomfortable. It actually hurts to use it.The idea behind it is great, the actual design is terrible. I have fought with this thing for a week and not once have I found a comfortable way to put it on my neck or the back of my head.Total waste of money and time.

I bought this product a few weeks ago. I want to give me time to use it before writing about it. First my background on my neck: an auto accident with neck surgery on C3-C4. Five years now and still so much pain with most days and nights on ice packs. I was told i still need more surgery.So now for my review on this wonderful neck roll. I have been without ice since the very first use. Wow how my life has changed. More sleep with better sleep. I love that the soft cover can be taken out to wash. I also love the memory foam and it fits so perfectly under my neck. I can use it in my recliner or chair. Absolutely love my new life with less pain in my neck and shoulders. Thank you so much!

Love it! Got my ears pierced on both sides at the same time . Tried an airplane pillow and it was so hard and uncomfortable. I just couldn’t do it. This pillow is soft enough that it doesn’t hurt your neck but supportive enough to hold your head up. I love that you can take the cover off too wash it and very well made. So happy I didn’t waste money on those 40$+ pillows for piercings.

Great design, just right for me. I really like that I can bend to meet my need for comfort. It is sturdy and holds its form. Very easy to use. I don't think it will be easy to travel with, no need to pack it as it will make the ride more comfortable.
