I've been using a D'A clip-on for years and have always liked it more than my other tuners. I accidently dropped it on the tile floor and broke the clip. Ten minutes later I had another one on order from Amazon. I received it the next day. The South Texas crazy hot/cold/dry/humid weather necessitated getting a replacement quickly. Now I'm glad it broke, because the new one, even thought it looks identical, seems so much better. It seems to lock on to the frequency faster and follow the adjustment process quicker. I play 5 string bass and the old one wouldn't reliably pick up the low B, this one locks on immediately. I can't understand the negative commentary. I have a lot of experience with setup and this little thing has made my life a lot easier. It's helped immeasurably reconciling 12th fret to the open string, bridge, pickup & string height, & truss rod adjustments. Problems usually arise after replacing a full set of strings. It helps if you can get everything back in the ball park by 5th fret tuning by ear. Once accomplished, it's pretty easy from there. I think I'll order another one just to have it.

Small, quick, and effective. It makes tuning between songs as easy as it's ever been. Tuned my bass with this thing and then plugged it up to my pedal tuner to compare and the results were pretty much spot on, so you know this thing does what it's supposed to. I will caution that it does start to struggle with lower registers, and I can't see it working on anything lower than an E string on a bass, so if you're one of those pretentious bass players who need more than four strings, you might have to tune that last one by ear, but let's be honest, you're not REALLY using it, right?...that's a joke, I swear, I own a five string bass myself!

I have tried many, many clip-on tuners, and this thing is pretty much the state of the art for what it is designed to do, that is, get you tuned up in a jiffy and ready to keep on rockin’ in seconds. Kind of like those guys in a pit crew who have optimized their game to get the race car driver back on the track in a matter of seconds. No jumpy needles, no “maybe’s”. You're either sharp, flat, or you’re ACCURATELY in tune. End of story! Big, bright, colorful, intuitive, easy-on-the-eyes display makes using this EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE device a pleasure to use. PLUS, when you calibrate to a different tuning standard, it STAYS in that mode even when you turn it off, And when it is on, it plainly and continuously displays the current calibration value on the display! So if the music sounds somewhat weird there’s no reason to be shy about asking the band, for example, “Are you guys in 440 or 444 like me?” Best tuner I have ever bought in 59 YEARS as a guitarist.

Don't forget to take the sticker off the front. I thought it wasn't working but it actually works great. Looks good and easy to use and well made.

Better than the one other tuner ive tried. It tunes properly, clips easy, and is very sensitive and accurate. Doesnt have as much mobility as one would like

Well I’ve recently have become a biased and loyal fan of Daddario products! They get you with their strings (best strings out there IMO) first to suck you in…..next thing you know, you have their picks, tuners, straps and guitar maintenance gear lol. Yea……that’s me. Anyways, this tuner is REALLY awesome for the price and it arrived next day which is always nice. The screen is bright and easy to read. The product overall is easy to use right out of the box. Tuning accuracy seems to be solid on this lil dude, it’s lightweight but sturdy enough at the same time. Small, compact and convenient! Seems to pick up tones on any type of axe, be it acoustic, electric or bass. Highly recommended to any musician looking for a great price and convenience wrapped into one! Daddario for the win!!!

One of the most accurate simple to use tuners. It’s compact, easy to see and use guitar tuner for electric or acoustic. Perfect for any headstock and adjustable. I highly recommend.

I bought the rechargeable model. So far battery life seems OK, but you will definitely have to charge between gigs. The case design is very good, and you can swivel it around for easy visibility. But the graphics design is not that great. When sharp, lines spread out to the top, in proportion to how much sharp. And similarly for flat. When in tune, the lines disappear and the center lights up with arrows pointing into the center. I've found that, even when this is the case, you can still be slightly out of tune. So these will get you close, but you might still have to use your ears to be completely in tune.
