I have been using this monitor for quite some time now, and despite its age, I can't help but sing its praises. However, it's important to note that the color accuracy of this monitor may not be suitable for final production work. While you can still touch up a few photos or work on your website using it, it's advisable to perform color correction and other tasks that require more care and accuracy on a different display.Setting reasonable expectations within the price segment that this monitor caters to, there is no reason not to be thrilled with its performance. At its core, this monitor is designed for gaming, and in that regard, it excels. The high refresh rate with freesync, paired with my 3080 has provided an amazing gaming experience. Perhaps it would have been nice if LG had included more on-screen display (OSD) features, but considering the price, it's understandable that they reserved those for the more premium market segment. Nonetheless, the monitor still offers essential controls for adjusting the picture, and it even has a built-in crosshair if find you need it.If you can find this monitor at a reasonable price, it's definitely a great option worth considering. However, nothing beats going to a physical store and seeing the panels in person to find the one that suits your preferences. If you choose to go that route, take a moment to switch the display model out of the ‘floor’ mode, as it isn’t uncommon for stores to enable the settings that oversaturate colors and try to appeal more to the mass market. In your home environment, you probably won't choose that setting, and it could result in a significantly different look and feel to the display and the motion rendering it uses.

So, bought this to add to my setup. I was using a 2560x1440P IPS Monitor.Added this due to the great deal and didn't really look into IPS vs VA.Oh my god I was suprised with the difference.VA: Provides deeper blacks, almost a true black.IPS: Better pixel rate, crisper and tighter display. YOU WILL NOTICE IT.VA also has an issue with "ghosting" the darker colors, you'll notice a slight blur or meshing when gaming at higher FPS.IPS has ZERO ghosting, it's so noticeable.TLDR: Get it if you're used to playing on VA monitors and appreciate the cheaper deal. Don't get if you're used to IPS monitors.I just set up a return for this for the IPS version of this same monitor, LG does good but it's my fault for not looking into this item deeply.Don't make the same mistake I did.

I've been a dual monitor believer for a while and at first I thought an ultra-wide was not very practical. Then I got a new job which had ultra-wide monitors at their workstations and I loved it so much that I had to have my own. I have not been disappointed with the picture quality and have the extra periphery makes gaming even more enjoyable. The speakers are just a nice touch, but whether you prefer speakers or headset, anything is better than these tiny speakers but doesn't affect my rating. I enjoy how easy it is to navigate through the settings and the general build.
