These fire safety blankets are the best invention I have ever seen and I got them in a pack of four and being a normal human. I had to try it out and I don’t recommend it, but I take things to the extreme. We did it outside in a large field, but I created several different types of fires that were in contained Conditions. ( in a medal container ) I do not recommend you try this yourself unless you are a professional. But since I have already tried it, I can tell you it does put out grease fires and any other fire. You can throw at it as soon as you cover it and let it sit until it cools down the fire is out without a mess and the best part of it is the blanket is reusable. Yes once they are used, they do get a light brown scorch mark on them, but they do not smell and all you have to do is shake it out and follow the directions for cleaning and fold it back up. Put it back in the bag and it’s all set to be reused again I have Three that have never been. Used & I hope I never have to use them and I still have the one that we tried to make sure it worked properly which it did and that one is back in its bag ready to use again and has been sitting in its bag for over two weeks now and does not have any smell of smoke fire or anything coming from it so they are definitely reusable, but they are definitely something you want to have and hope you never have to use. There are several different companies selling these, but this is the only company that is 100% guaranteed so if you’re going to buy one or several only buy this specific brand other brands, I’ve tried in the past do not work. This is the only one I actually was shocked. It worked right away on a grease fire, it put it right out so definitely get these as a gift or just for peace of mind because you could lose more than just your property in a house fire and trust me. I know we had three houses that were close together across the street from where I live burn to the ground in less than 15 minutes. That’s how fast the fire spread and they lost everything they owned and we’re lucky. No one was killed so these blankets are a must buy and can be learned how to use by a child. Don’t forget only buy this brand. This is the 100% effective brand. There is well worth the money and the peace in mind you have knowing your home is safe.

Story time: about a year ago, I accidentally turned the wrong burner on to boil a pot of water for Mac and Cheese, then proceeded to get into the shower while “the water was heating up”. Mistake, I know, but I didn’t realize at the time as I had done it plenty of times before. Well, the burner that I actually turned on had a knife on it that caught on fire and I didn’t realize until my fire alarms were activated and the flames were as high as my head. I ran out into the kitchen and activated my fire extinguisher which is all I had at the time. It put out the fire of course, but also left smoke throughout my house and about a millimeter of extinguisher dust on EVERYTHING and I am still finding things to clean off to this day and had to get a smoke abatement system because the smell was horrible.Well, when shopping around for a new extinguisher, I saw an ad for the prepared hero blankets and decided to buy one in addition to an extinguisher. Just to see which worked better. Fast forward about 2 months, I was cooking for a big group of people and made the same mistake, turned on the wrong burner. At that point I had learned never to put things on the stove, but someone else must’ve put one of my cutting boards on it thinking the burner was off. We noticed a weird smell but couldn’t find the source until the cutting board burst into flames. I ran over and pulled the fire blanket out, smothered the flames, and that was it! No plumes of black smoke, no ashes, no layer of extinguisher dust everywhere. It just put the flames out and my kitchen once again was saved.I have since bought 5 more for my car, and each of my family members. I recommend this to everyone.

I bought one of these for every person I love. Best Christmas or birthday gift for people who cook or operate a gas grill. Fire extinguishers can expire. This works well when sudden fires crop up. Children can be trained to use them since everyone knows how to use a blanket. I have one next to my gas grill and one in my kitchen. I feel better knowing they are handy in my kids’ homes.

I bought a 4 pack for Christmas of 2024. I kept one and used the 3 others as gifts. I had to use mine today to put out a small fire on my stove. It definitely did its job! The only complaint I have is the fiberglass type fibers that transfer from the blanket. But a small price to pay to prevent your house from burning down!

They arrived in just one day in great shape. They're well made and easy to use. Bright red makes it easy to find and you can hang it just about anywhere you can put a nail or hook. I hope I never need to use it, however I feel better now if something does happen. I gave some to my daughter for their home too.
