This is a manufacturer approved O-Ring designed for lawn and garden equipment. This is the O-Ring that provides an Air Tight seal between Carburetor and Cylinder Head. If doing maintenance on carburetor it is recommended to replace the O-Ring instead of re-using the old one. Over time rings and seals tend to dry out and would no longer provide proper seal compromising engines performance.

The part worked great
The lawn mower company ordered this part from their source for my weed eater. It was on back order for five weeks. I ordered the part from Amazon and received it in a couple days. I took it to the lawn mower repair shop and I was ready to go very quickly. Thanks Amazon !

O-Ring? O-Boy. (Not worth it).
I've seen quality in the past in O-Rings and this product by far is about the worst of the lot. To make things clear in this review, it's more about what one gets for the price they paid. Too expensive for what is given in return. Flimsy is putting it mild to describe the product. I honestly don't believe the creation of materials is at its finest nor do I believe a product which costs about $.03-$.05 each should be worth $3. That's 300 times the cost to make it with the cheapest of materials. One can hardly hold it in one's hand, have a hard time seeing it in a package, doesn't remain in place when put into a carb insert, didn't cost $3 each to mail (about the weight of a postage stamp, and isn't worth the trouble it takes to order it. If I'm being honest, think about another brand or dealer as I'm disgusted even have tried ordering this failure.

This is far from a direct replacement, but it will work.
This is an exact replacement gasget in appearance only, it's way thinner than the original part. To make this gasget work you need to carefully grind down the carburetor spacer-block until there's enough of this o-ring above the lip to make a seal on the carburetor face. Be careful not to damage the plastic spacer or any of the holes, it took me a while to do it with a various assortment of sand paper grits and it works perfectly, but I'm still a little P-O'ed over this not being anywhere near the right part.
