External SSD Enclosure
A smart looking enclosure that's portable and easy to use. The unit is an attractive and sturdy Alluminium oval cylinder that feels robust and cool to the touch. I could recommend this for durability and SSD protection but will say that it would not protect from water.

Excellent just what I needed
I bought this ssd enclosure to help me clone the existing ssd in my laptop to a bigger ssd.This enclosure comes with great detailed instructions.There are also many YouTube videos that detail the process.I like the size and look of the device.It comes with both a USB C to USB C cable and and USB to USB C cable.It also comes with 2 thermal pads which are handy.Build quality is great and the device performs well, I now have a spare external ssd and was able to easily install my new ssd.I'm very pleased.

Surplus ssd drive
Upgrade my desktop pc ssd so bought this to enclose my surplus ssd and use it as a portable drive. Comes with everything you need including two different types of cables. Work a treat. Would recommend.

Simple but does the job and quite sleek styling
Caveat - so far my usage has been to hook up a new SSD for cloning my current laptop SSD over USB 3.2 prior to replacing it. In that respect, this was easy and flawless. Clone of 500Gb of data took maybe 20 minutes, and device didn't even get that hot. I'd left the cover off and not attached any of the supplued thermal transfer stickers as this was temporary usage only. I can't vouch for how hot the device would run with long term usage. The case it metal though - so I'd imagine it could get quite warm, but with the heatsink stickers ought to be ok.

Great value for good features in simple enclosure
Everything you need to make an M.2 NVMe SSD into a very fast portable hard drive. Just make sure you pair it with an M.2 storage device with the M key (or B+M key) slots in one of the 22xx form factors. READ the assembly INSTRUCTIONS – it's simple but there's a couple of tips they give you that make it even easier. With one of the two thermal pads (leaving one spare) you'll get good heat dissipation through the metal case if your SSD runs warm. The two included USB-C cables seem sturdy, and when it's all put together you get a UASP interface giving good reading and writing speeds - I got over 300MBps on my cheap SSD.Very happy with my purchase

Fiddly to use.
Strongly built, looks good, does the job it's built for. However, as fiddly as anything to assemble correctly. I'd not buy another, but buy one that is easier to use.

M2 NVME card fitted fine, easy assembly, no tools required, up and running in 10 minutes. This enclosure is used as a external primary drive due to internal soldered drive failing. The external enclosure gets warm, but not hot, it is robust and feels it will last the course. The added benefit of two cables makes it very functional, all in all a good buy
