Q: Is there a spout that prevents spilling milk when you empty the pump? I can’t tell from the pictures.

No there is not. It takes a little practice to figure out how to pour with out spilling. I would try with water first and found that pouring by the release valve works best for me.

Q: How many ounces does it hold before you must empty the container?

It holds up to 4oz but I usually empty it before then because I'm constantly moving around and I can feel it splashing around in there
