This lens hood fits snugly and precisely.I’m very happy with my purchase.(You’d think that’s to be expected—but after buying two lens hoods that didn’t fit properly, I’ve learned it’s not always a given to get a quality product.)

This is my 3rd purchase of a JJC lens hood. It cost half as much as the Canon brand hood and it is at least as good. The material is top quality, sturdy and thick. The lens hood mounts, rotates smoothly and locks with a satisfying click of money saved.This is one small economic victory when you find a product this good and you pay a reasonable price for it. It's not a huge amount of money, but you feel good you save some cash and made the right choice.If that were not enough, you get a lens cleaning cloth that is vacuum sealed. Very nice and you feel like you get a good value. I am impressed.I will keep buying these quality JJC lens hoods.

This is the first time I have ever used a lens hood that wasn't from the manufacture of the lens itself. I have to say, I'm very pleased so far. It went on really well and the first few times I used it it was pretty stiff/hard to remove, but now it's loosened up a bit. The new Canon hoods have a button that you press to take them on and off, this one does not, it just turns and clicks into place like the older Canon hoods, but still seems to work well. Time will tell if it holds up, but at about 1/4th the price of the Canon replacement I would say its been well worth it so far.

The 16mm lens is so wide that it usually necessitates using a hood to prevent flare. This works fine and is a lot cheaper than the Canon version.

Fits on lens just like a Canon brand hood. I have Canon L series and other lenses with factory hoods. I can't see any significant fitting and quality differents between those and this brand. I would recommend this product.

consumer grade RF lenses do not come with lens hoods. These are a much better bargain and work just as well as buying an optional one from Canon.
