These come in a 3-pack, which is nice, particularly for the price, that was a surprisingly good value. They're also really good sized compared to others I've had, I was able to connect two 12 gauge extension cords (which are pretty thick) together in them without a problem, they snapped and sealed really well. Other units I've had are just plastic, and didn't keep water out well, but these have a nice combination of a plastic outer shell and rubber ends & seals that keep water out at all points. Highly recommend.

Very effective at sealing the joins between power cords for outdoor lighting. Held up well in rain, expecting it'll continue to hold up well for snow.

It works. I’ve had a pair of these installed for months. Installation wasnt easy. They are not made of a sturdy thick plastic and it bends under pressure.I had to be careful as when I tried strapping it to the post from the installed attachment points the doors on the protective devices would never close right and make a water tight seal. So I sacrificed accessibility to the plugs and strapped zip ties around the both boxes and attached them that way.

I purchased some pricy Christmas lights which included a small electric box for pairing with music. Since they were outdoor lights, I wanted to protect the box. This safety cover was perfect, especially since the electric box was bigger than a typical plug. The wires are very secure, and I'm confident they will last through the harsh Chicago winters.
