Runs small, but larger size will work well
This bra runs small but seems sturdy and well-made. I ordered the next size up (44) and am waiting for it to arrive. I was able to get the 42 on (over an underwire bra) but it was tight enough to cause lumps in places, dig in a little bit, and feel uncomfortable.Sizing Info: I typically wear a 42C bra, although I fit into 40D in some brands. When I measured my ribcage as the sizing chart depicted, I measured 40.5", which means the 42 should have fit. I'll post an update when I get the 44.I plan to wear this over my regular, underwire bra, to act as a sort of camisole that will both be cooler than, and stay in place better than, a full camisole. Even though the 42 was small, I can tell the larger size will fit comfortably and do what I need: cover up excess cleavage when I wear a couple of my low-cut dresses. An added perk is that this bra has a thin band of grippy material along the top edge that seems as though it will very effectively hold the bra in place.Update 08.20.16:I swapped this bra out for the 44. It fit much better, although it is still a little tighter than I expected. I wore the size 44 for about 5 hours over a regular bra (straps & underwire), and it was very comfortable. It worked perfectly with the dresses I purchased this bra for. The elastic band worked well; the bra stayed up where I'd placed it--possibly because the underwire bra was providing support/lift. The bra did shift a little bit to one side over time, but that was nothing compared to how much camisoles shift, twist, and pull. I moved it back in place a couple of times when I was in the bathroom. For those of us who are a C or D cup, this bra will not provide support without an underwire bra worn under it.

Carole Martin Strapless Bra
It is a comfortable bra but NO support at all. Will not stay in place even with the elastic edge. Not sure I would ever buy again. I am not a strapless person so can not give a really good review.

Very Uncomfortable
The top band digs into the front of my armpits, making it downright painful to wear at times. At first I thought this was just because they run a little small and tried the next size up, but it didn't make a significant difference.

Nice!
*This is a correction, I accidentally submitted a review about another bra I was disappointed in.This is my first strapless bra. It felt weird putting it on because I'm used to shoulder straps. lol Very awkward, but after a few minutes I got used to it. I walked around the house & even jumped a few times, everything stayed in place. True to size. 44C. Color is beige. The material is soft. The lace in front is very pretty. Price was great! This bra is 10 times better than an expensive one I received at the same time. I'm going to get the colored ones. I definitely recommend this bra!

Lovely Fit with Beautiful Lace Detail
The recommended size was 38, but I ordered a 42. It’s a little snug, but overall the fit is great. I also tried a size 44 to compare, but it was too big and felt loose around the cups.Just a note: this piece doesn’t offer support and isn’t padded. I’ll be wearing nipple covers or a light pad to prevent any show-through.I’m happy with my purchase and absolutely love the lace detail at the front—it adds a beautiful touch.

Comfortable but disappointed
Fits perfectly - true to size, smooth in the back. Comfortable, although a little hard to do 5 snaps but I ended up hooking them in front & turning the bra around. What I hate & this will keep me from ever wearing this bra again is that it scootches down on top, mushing the girls & leaving a line that is very unattractive. Maybe it's because I'm a 44C, I don't know. This is my first strapless & unless I can find an underwire that doesn't do the same thing, it will be my last. I wear smooth, stretch cup, underwire bras that are totally invisible under clothing but in the summer I like deep cut sleeveless tops and strap lines kind of ruin the look. So disappointed that this wasn't the solution.

As I expected
I am a plus size 51 year old woman, I have always been very critical of my body shape and never used strapless clothing. Last year I started to use a strapless dress with a strapless underwire bra and had compliments on it, but the underwire bra was very uncomfortable so when I found this bra, though I knew it wouldn't be my perfect size, I made it work with an extension (SAMGU Women's Bra Extenders 2 Hook / 3 Hook / 4 Hook / 5 Hook Elastic Stretchy Bra, https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0989X8L8D?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). This strapless bra was so much more comfortable because it does not have underwires and they kept ''the girls'' well secured, if you know what I mean. I wore this bra for 12 hours in Las Vegas at daily temps of between 109 to 114 degrees, walking all over and never felt like I needed to get back to our room to take it off immediately due to pain or whatever. The stretchy material is so soft that it wasn't causing me to sweat. The inside material had a silicone material that kept it in place yet didn't cause chafing or sweat or redness. What I also loved about the bra was how high the sides are to gather any ''loose flesh'' and keep it under control. Oh, and the lace on the front was really pretty also. I loved this bra so much that I bought 3 colors: white, black and pink. My only criticism about this bra was that the manufacturer did not offer a larger band size in this design and I had to buy a 5-hook extension to make it fit. As a side note, this bra fit into my travel luggage so much better because it could be rolled up due to not having stiff underwires in it, which was a big plus when I was packing for my Las Vegas trip. Oh, and the material dried quickly after I washed it and hung it to dry in the hotel room. In the attached photo you can see how well the bra looked under my new strapless dress.
