This stainless steel tea strainer works great! It has plenty of room so the tea is not crammed into a small area like the tea balls are. I can adjust the flavor of the tea that I like by putting more tea or less tea into the item. Also, it's very easy to clean a great item.

Seems to be good quality materials.I am a huge fan of Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea. Problem is I am only finding it in bags and now there is concern over micro plastics in tea bags. I emptied the tea bag into the infuser/strainer.My hope was that the fine mesh would catch 100% of the fine tea. It did not. What small amount did get through settled on the bottom and did not prevent my enjoying the tea. I would estimate about 5% got through the mesh.It may not be a fair test and regular loose tea should be contained more easily. I have not been able to find that particular tea in looseleaf. I have several hundred of the bags I will be using.

This is my second one, and it's just as fantastic as the first. Nothing falls through the mesh—it’s the perfect filter for steeping loose leaf tea (and even coffee). I love how the design with double handles makes it so convenient to hang on teapots, mugs, or cups. As a dedicated tea lover, I can confidently say this infuser is a must-have. I'll be buying this over and over again!

I have purchased this tea strainer five different times. Two were when I lived out of state and unfortunately didn't bring it with me when I moved. I immediately bought a new one a week after I moved and just bought two more because I'll have guests staying over who are tea drinkers too. This strainer works great. I prefer loose leaf tea and it allows the tea to move around and completely unfurl, giving me the best taste. It's easy to clean and I do suggest you clean it as soon as possible because it will stain. If you do loose tea, this should be on your list of must haves.

Perfect! I purchased this to make loose leaf teas and it works really well, leaves very little residue in the cup. Today my husband used it twice, once for tea, once for coffee. He was so impressed with the results he asked me to get another one so we would each have our own. Just put in the order. I'm considering buying another to have in our travel gear. It's just that good!
