We only use these for pressure applications, not suction, so unknown suction performance. We have had 20+years of durability on this type of hose. Main problem is that they WILL HEAVE and Rupture if frozen solid, unless the soil around them also freezes. Will tolerate icing up to 85% fill, after that it is a crapshoot on survival. Usually the joining plastic fixtures will fail first anyway. .
