Mouth Guard for Clenching Teeth (4 Piece Set)

EXTREMELY GOOD PRODUCT!!

These are so easy to mold and use. I use them at night, so I don't grit my teeth. This brand is sturdy, I bite through the first brand I tried. I will definitely buy these again.

It fits good but the material is very thick which makes hard to keep the mouth closed.

The process for using it was streamlined and easy to follow, but It was extremely uncomfortable and painful after a couple nights of using it. But I've been told that's normal. If you can handle it, the price for these are really fair and I'd go for it. It's very thick, too and you can choke on the sides of it easily.

It doesn't look anything like the picture on the box when molded but they work great for what I was dealing with.It was pretty easy to mold.

I ordered mouth guards from two different companies. The DAV by far was better. Instructions were clear. The mouth guard fits perfectly and is quite comfortable. The trick is to let the boiling water cool for a bit and do use a slatted wooden spoon to pick it up out of the water. My other brand said to use a fork and the fork totally misshaped the guard. With the DAV I didn't have a thermometer so I guessed on the water temp after letting it cool from a boil. 15 seconds in the water was perfect - you don't want it to melt. Popped it in my mouth and pushed my around my gums through my skin to make the perfect fit. Took it out and ran it under cold water. I'd rather start with this than pay my dentist $1800 for a digital imprint of my mouth and all the bruhaha that goes along with it $$$$$ Don't know how long it will last - I guess that all depends on how hard one grinds their teeth. Nice carrying case and extra guards too.

Here's the thing. If you're like me, scrolling through Amazon looking for a night guard, you're reading reviews, and looking for the best value and most effective device. This one is a great price, and comes with everything a lot of these kits come with....EXCEPT really good instructions. The little paper that comes with it is just the bare minimum of what they can get away with, without providing any instructions at all. I watched a few youtube videos, read some instructions for other kits, but the two guards I got out of this one just don't quite work for me. I consider this purchase a waste of money, and I just received the second kit today from another brand. Inside they provide two heavy duty guards, and 4 of the standard ones. They also provide a qr code that takes you to an instructional video. And the little pamphlet that comes with it has indepth instructions on how to use the kit.So while this one may work for some just fine, my personal experience is to say skip over this one, and go to another - one that will provide more than a few guards and a tiny short little insert that just doesn't give you much in the way of how to use it.

After a few attempts I got the guards to mold well enough that they fit comfortably and stay in place. You have to be precise with the water temperature and how long they are heated. They are on the bulky side and I had to trim the bottom ones because they extended too far over the gums.
