Aero Cosmetics Plex Wax Aircraft Window and Instrument Cleaner, Works on Plastic and Heated Glass

Tried handful of window cleaners on the plane most leave a haze or streaks. This you can use with out have to go over and over to get rid of the haze left behind.

I use this for my Electra Glide windshield... Also a private pilot, I know how important it is to have a clear windshield with no spiderweb scratches on it. I've flown an airplane before where the owner cleaned the windshield with windex and paper towels... The glare the spiderweb scratches produced were not acceptable...The windshield needed to be buffed out, and I refused to fly that plane again until it was...My motorcycle windshield is made out of the same material... Get yourself two microfiber towels. Wet one with water. Spray on Plex, let it soak for a few minutes, clean windshield with damp microfiber... Spray again, and clean and dry with dry microfiber. This will actually polish the windshield perfectly clear.

I have been using it on my aircraft windshield. Works great forCleaning off bugs without scratching the windscreen.

Although I'd call it more of a wax it does clean those plastic aircraft windows. Just make sure to follow the directions and use clean cloths.

I wasn’t sure what to expect because the product is advertised as a cleaner for plastic instrument faces. I bought it because I wanted to be sure of a friendly cleaner for the tinted windows of my new truck. Ammonia based glass cleaners are bad for tint films. When I used it on the glass windshield and outside surfaces of glass windows (which hadn’t been cleaned in a while), I was amazed. This cleaner does an awesome job of cleaning to a crystal clear look without streaking, smudges, or cloudiness that I have such a problem with when using other cleaners.This is now my go-to cleaner for auto windows.
