Q: does it help with fading brown spots

Hi Elizabeth,Unfortunately, it does not work with fading brown spots. It really is just awesome for dry skin and getting rid of the red spots and ingrowns. I'm Asian and have hyper-pigmentation. My dermatologist prescribed Obagi's #3 Clear. It contains 4% hydroquinone. There is a lot of controversy over hydroquinone, but it works. The Obagi #3 Clear is prescription only, but there's another brand that is 2% hydroquinone you can buy over the counter. It is significantly cheaper than Obagi. You get what you pay for though. Another great product that is prescription only is a retinol called tretinoin. It is your do it all cream/gel. It prevents wrinkles, it helps with fading dark spots, it helps with acne and etc. Whenever you see products that says "retinol," it is a relative of tretinoin. My dermatologist explained all of this to me because I was asking about a good serum to buy. I told her I wanted one with a retinol in it and helps fade dark spots. I was just wasting money on these $100/1oz bottles of serum, when I already had the best stuff. I had the best retinol and the best fading cream. There is a site that sells the Obagi #3 for $65 without a prescription, but I think you should consult with your dermatologist before using it.

Q: does it help with acne?

It has helped my 17 year old son tremendously. His acne had gotten worse and my next step was to put him on medication , I’ve just been afraid of all the nasty side effects. Within two weeks he noticed less breakouts and oil/sebum production. After using it for almost 6 months he has a huge improvement in scarring! I realize it’s not recommended for the face but it has helped so much that he now uses it for his face as well!

Q: For those that ordered in 2020, does this have that bluish color to it? Some reviews said it’s counterfeit product?
