I'd go 4.5 stars on this if that was a thing. And the .5 would be lost because when you don't have water in this, it is tippy. Big heavy solid rotomolded cooler with sturdy handle and a high quality drain plug. I had small mullet in it for full days in the Alabama sun on a dock (with reasonable water changes). Didn't lose a bait. This would be fantastic for lake fishing from boat or shore where you want to keep a pound of fathead minnows or shiners alive all day. Also a perfect choice for live shrimp.The cage fits most bubblers (I use the old/large 2 D battery ones) and the hole in the lid for the air hose prevents leaking water. Though it does keep you from sitting/standing on the bucket, which you could definitely do without harm to it. This is a buy one minnow bucket and never buy another one type item. Well worth the price.

As for using the popular Engel X-Large aerator, the key it to put it in the rack before you screw it on.I do wish it was available in a larger size, but then wouldn’t be as portable I suppose.

Loose in the box are the feet that feel off just in shipping cheaply made will try to reglue per company representative although they were never glued.. update glue failed just a bad design also water enters bottom of bucket through feet holes and soaks foam also screws are non stainless

Handle pops out very easy and lost a lil rubber foot immediately.

I really like the bucket but in my opinion it needs minor adjustments I used this bucket couple dozen times before writing this review First problem was 2 of the rubber feet came off Luckily they came off at same time and was able to glue them back Second is the basket for aeration pump it’s not big enough for Engle pump Third it’s a bait bucket exsposed to water Why not stainless screws and washers for basket After only 2 days of fishing rust stains we’re running down bucket A trip to hardware store and purchased stainless hardware fixed this issue I love it’s a veteran owned company and wish them the best Just need small upgrade in my opinion
