I stumbled across these Umbra rods a few years ago and have been buying them exclusively every time I need a new curtain rod ever since (very sure I’ve reviewed them before actually, because I love them that much and have bought them sooo many times). Easy to hang, sturdy AF, and the “wrap around” sides mean they block maximum light and provide maximum privacy. I also like how easy it is to just unscrew the rod to take panels down to wash them. Throw in the overall, minimalist look—no weird finials sticking out collecting dust—and they’re basically curtain rod perfection in my opinion. At this point I’ve finally converted all my rods to these, but if I do find myself needing more rods, I will absolutely be buying more of these.

I like the double bars, they look good, easy to install, and have a very sturdy feel.FYI- these were purchased to replace cheap old curtain rods that my small cat was able to tear down(!@#!!).

These double curtain rods work so well with my blackout curtains and sheer curtains. They were very easy to install and are sturdy. I trully like how they frame the window(s). The curve allows the curtains to go all the way to the wall so no light shines in the gap other curtain rods allow. I recommend these double rods.

There is a small mounting plate that screws to your wall, and the rod system easily slides over it, hiding all the screws. Looks great! The finish looks good too. Curves around to keep out the side light.They are a little flimsier than expected. But I have a wide window and they are almost fully extended, so not a lot of overlap. I love the way the rods unscrew from the bracket. I added sheers and didn't have to take down the whole thing. Just unscrewed the back rod to add the sheers. It's really a great idea.

This is the first rod I purchased for my office because I wanted a double curtain rod, but I hated the look of the normal double bracket style. At first a little weird to mount, but was a breeze in retrospect. They made the directions clear and easy to follow while being as detailed as possible (it was probably just my home improvement skills lacking). I didn’t need to use the anchor extensions and it holds four panels of both sheer and blackout panels. The only thing that may bother people is the middle bracket that stabilizes the rod to prevent bowing. It means you need to “load” your curtains from each side separately. This isn't a big deal for me but some may find it irritating. Liked it so much I bought a gold one for my living room and may purchase another for my bedroom.

I have these rods in a number of my rooms, and overall, I really like them. They are pretty, and the rounded corners mean you don't have any gaps where the curtains don't actually cover. My one complaint is just that, due to the construction of the edge pieces wanting to be "screwless", visually, they are a little finicky to get on, and if the anchors are not VERY well-established in the wall, you can end up ripping down the curtain moments after you just spent a ton of time putting it up. Still, if screwless visuals are important to you, these are really excellent rods.
