Hot Sock Diffuser

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This thing is fantastic! As others have said, I bought this for easy travel, and it does work on hotel dryers. However, it also works WAY better than my plastic spikey diffuser, better curls, less pokes in the head, less space in the drawer. Have used it every day for over a year and it’s in perfect shape. And it’s not even expensive!

I have been using these for years. I usually wait until I burn a hole in the end from using it too long on high heat but mine is still good. I saw this on Amazon and the price is great so now I have a new backup.

I usually let my curly hair air dry as much as possible, but sometimes when you're in a hurry you just have to diffuse, at least a little bit. This sock thing works pretty well.Pros:- Will fit on the end of ANY dryer (you never know what the hotel will have)- Cuts the airflow like a regular diffuser, while still allowing enough air to dry effectively- Does not get too hot or threaten to melt the dryer- Super light, squashes down to nothing, very convenient for travelCons:- If you touch your hair with it, it WILL make it frizzy (the surface is rather fuzzy), so don't use your normal diffusing technique. Just hover diffuse.Overall, for the price and convenience, it's very effective.

I brought this to Europe so that I could pack light. It’s not the same as a regular diffuser of course, but it works for travel!

Works. But comes off easily if you use high airflow to dry your hair

Emergency purchase when travelling to US from UK. Exceeded my expectations! Lightweight and works with any hairdryer.So good I plan to buy more as presents for other curly haired people on my life!

I first bought it as a replacement for a travel diffuser as those take too much space in the suitcases, especially when you are trying to travel with just a carry on. Most hotels have a hair dryer but not diffuser attachments so I decided to see if I could use this to dry my curly wavy hair when I travel.As with most things, there is a bit of a learning curve involved if you are used to a bowl diffuser attachment. However, once you figure that out, it’s an amazing tool.Pros:1. Travels light, easy to pack, saves space.2. Fits on most hotel hair dryers.3. Doesn’t slip or fall off.4. Doesn’t get too hot to the touch.5. Dries hair quickly and without any damage.Cons:1. Won’t give tight curls. Curls are looser and wavier than what you get with a bowl diffuser attachment.I have found that the best way to use it is for me to tip my head upside down and just hover diffuse with this attachment on medium heat and medium speed. That gives me the best results without staticky or frizzy hair (ordinarily I can get away with low to medium heat and high speed when using a bowl disuser attachment, but with this sock high speed blows the hair a bit too much for my liking). Try not to let this touch your hair when you are drying as it will break up the curls and make them more frizzy. Just hover close and dry. Easy peasy.

I didn't know how to use the sock at first. My hair is very thick and Curly and frizzy. Dried in short time. Arrived quickly and in good shape
