This is a great starter machine—perfect if you’re ready to dive in and do some serious learning. There’s definitely a learning curve, but it’s worth it, especially with the outstanding customer service this company provides. They genuinely care that you get the most out of your machine. My tech, Leo Wang, has been exceptional—guiding me through every step with patience and expertise. Couldn’t have done it without him!

Glad I ordered via Amazon received the product quickly with no issues and the delivery person was very helpful and thoughtful (called me with a ETA). The set up for the base was without any instruction so that was a negative and was built from looking at the photo. The machine is heavy so you gonna need some friend help to lift on to the table. Threading the needle was easy due to the fact that it came pre threaded and you could use the pre existing thread to pull your thread through. I did have some tension issues at first and many string breaks ! Broke my first needle in the first days. I made contact with a rep via text and email and the response was decent and helpful. My advice is that you join a Facebook group for your specific machine and ask a lot of questions. The videos on You Tube are helpful but would advise Bai to hire A English speaking person to make instruction videos on a platform like You tube. The maintenance of the machine is pretty straight forward , and I was able to laser cut a new plate cover for easy access to oiling the needles. See attached photo . The biggest challenge will be tuning in the tension, My only previous experience was from a single head Brothers Pe900.

Having two heads running simultaneously would increase my output and help me fulfill bulk orders faster. The price of this machine is much much less than the competitors. I think it’s an excellent value. There is a lot to learn with this machine. If you’re new to embroidery or coming from a single needle machine it will take some time & patience to learn multi needle. I’m sure that’s the same with all brands. The tech support is excellent with BAi. They have technicians/engineers available by chat available almost all the time. They are very responsive, most often answering within the same day & are very encouraging. I was very surprised at how good the tech support is. It’s really personal, I talk to the same person every time & it’s been nice to have them learn what it is I want to get out of the machine. I really needed for them to be patient with me. It really means a lot to me how encouraging they have been. They even follow up with me to make sure I’m still doing ok with the machine when I don’t ask any questions for a few days. BAi has a YouTube channel that has instructional videos that are pretty good. The machine comes with a full set of tools & tool box which is nice. It also comes with a bobbin winder. That adds value not needing to buy that separately. I would recommend when you buy the machine, to also invest in a tension gauge. Setting & adjusting tension has been the most difficult part for me. It comes with a lot of different sized hoops. All the sizes you’d ever need but I would also invest in the magnetic Mighty Hoops because it makes hooping the material so much easier. If you have any troubles with your hands like carpal tunnel or arthritis, the Mighty Hoops will be worth the additional investment. Another thing to think about investing in is embroidery software. You can buy designs (and even find free designs) ready to go online, but it will be much easier with some basic software. BAi has some recommendations on software that the techs can discuss with you. I purchased Embrilliance. It’s fairly priced & you can buy that also on Amazon. You will need embroidery thread, which is not included. In my opinion, if you’re interested in a multineedle machine, this machine is a great choice. Be prepared to be patient with your self while learning & don’t be shy to utilize the tech support.
