I write few reviews and to be honest nearly all are when something falls short. Not the case here - this device makes something that was otherwise a bit of a pain into something of a pleasure - but it's slightly specialized - HEX KEYS. I operate a device that requires frequent disassembly using half a dozen different hex keys. I tried the penknife style sets and they are awkward to use, fiddly to open and find the right hex, and greasy. I tried the individual allen key sets that come in plastic insert holders - they are a little difficult to remove from the holder, sometimes hard to locate in the target hex head, and I tend to drop them, especially when changing from rapid screw in to synching tight. This device has none of those problems, it's a total pleasure to use. HOWEVER, you will of course need a set of drill bit hex heads and none are provided with the enclosed mini set of screw drivers etc. I had one of those sets of everything from costco and simply substituted the ones I wanted in the small holder. A final point comparing the ratchet style wrench and this one for hex keys: this one is faster, easier to operate and in screw driver mode can reach recessed hex screws that the ratchet wrench cannot. The reason it is faster is that nearly all hex screws can be twirled out after loosening - actually the ratchet wouldn't even work at this stage due to insufficient resistance. Suggestion - the manufacturer should change the proposed use for this device and offer the option of a set of sae or metric drill bit hex heads.

This is a VERY nice & handly & well made lil low-profile "screwdriver"; and therein lay the problem for me. I was looking for a small "ratchet" driver and thought this was one - but it's not. Aside from that fact, it's actually a PERFECT lil driver for someone doing small & detailed work using small screws.

Handy pocket tool for just about anywhere. I keep mine in my bike tool kit with a select type of bits.

This is NOT a ratchet handle!!! its a holder for screwdriver bits and sockets if you use an adapter. No moving parts, You twist it and it turns, just like any screwdriver. Nice asortment of bits, get a 1/4 adapter and you could use a socket with it,Would I buy this again? NO,

It's very versatile. Bottom line however, I haven't used it yet, so I'm not quite sure about long term quality, but it's a super cool looking and feeling piece of kit. I'll definitely put it to use, so I'll report back if the occasion arrises.

One of the ball bearings that hold the bit in fell out. I can't get it back in so not using it.

I was hoping to find a ratchet driver but figured I would settle on this. It's perfect even without the ratchet features. Fit my hands perfect. Small enough for my EDC.
