Q: Does this have a roller brush?

There is no roller brush, but there's a flexible rubber strip that seems to do an excellent job at helping get stuff up. I'm very impressed by this compact vacuum.

Q: What is the difference except colors in these 3 vaccums - prices vary 24.99, 43.41, 39.94?

I ordered the $24.99 blue version. I honestly can not say why there's a price difference between the 3 models offered as they, to me, appear to be the same in all respects but color when I study their photos (noticing that the listed attributes do not change at all between models). I can say that I am so very pleased with my $24.99 / blue vacuum because it does exactly what I bought it for (tiled floors &low pile throw rugs) and taking advantage of the hand-held changeability is huge (***** great at sussing "stuff" out of cracks between stove & cabinetry, and snatching creepy-crawlies off the ceiling)

Q: How is this on hardwood and laminate floors? I've had other vacuums that would scratch hard wood.

This vacuum works on all types of flooring: laminate, tile, wood, marble, travertine, etc. I have never had a problem with it scratching.
