Love it!
Ive owned mine for a few years now. Absolutely love it. Ive bought "better" more expensive bows than this one and I don't like them as well. Shoots great, strings easily with a recurve bow stringer. Great bow for the money. Just remember if new to archery get the right arrows! Real feather fletching is a must!!!!

Incredible Deal for a Pretty and Fun to Shoot Bow
I bought the 30# bow. It is very well made and looks very nice. The only part that looks a bit cheap is the hand guard area but other than that, it is a very pretty bow and fun to shoot.

A Worthwhile Purchase!
For the last few weeks, I have withheld my review on this product to see - overall - how it would hold up with my expectations. I am MORE than happy with it thus far! At first, as this was my first big purchase in getting a bow for my medieval outfit for Halloween and then to make it a wall decor, I wasn't sure I chose right. But I have been proven very wrong! (Also, shooting it doesn't seem a problem either, as most people would get this for actual hunting or practicing.)I don't mean to praise too much but this bow is seriously a sweet deal. When it arrived in packaging, it was securely cared for as well as wrapped. It took a bit to get it all out, which says something nice as it was made safe for the travel to me. Afterwards, I came to find that the bow was stringed with something else and not the string. I put the bow on the floor, held it down with my knee and strung the bow in the end; although my muscles worked out during it all, lol. But the bow looked just as awesome as I hoped it would. I carried it around the house for the longest time, feeling like Legolas or something. It's an inspiring piece of work!I included a picture or two of the bow itself so people could see how big the item is. And it really is a handy, versatile, well sized bow that won't be too awkward or disappointing to hold. It also, funny enough and I am no real hunter or expert, shoots pretty well too! Again, I am no expert, but there is a ton of power behind the shot. Be careful when practicing or aiming!

Very nice inexpensive bow
Pretty bow, I wanted a primitive style horse bow. Learning thumb release, I have shot this every day since it arrived. I have a recurve and compound hunting bows but I wanted something fun to shoot. This certainly is, I am very well pleased with my purchase.

Does what it supposed to do!
I’ve been using it for a week, 200+ arrows shoot, no complains, looks beautiful, do its job! Its shoot arrows, great starting bow for any intermediate bow shooter, my 10 year old can open it with no struggle, im a returning archery with a 20 year hiatus, using compound bows, decided to give it a try with traditional bows, my sons own a traditional recurved bow a 15 lbs & 28 draw length, he manage and felt comfortable with this bow with no arrow rest. So he used my knuckles glove for it! A mist to have, For the price you cant ask more, would recommend a bow with arrow rest if your a beginner, but if your coming back to archery and have shoot bows before this is easy to master, very fun to shoot and it have the nostalgic side of it of a traditional bow

The boy was defective
I recieved this bow, unbound it, strung it up and the first time pulling it back i heard a small snap. I hoped it was superficial but a few days later when I took it shooting it performed alright for maybe 15 shots and then snapped again but worse this time. It's still intact and because of the decorative wrap on it I havnt seen the extent of the damage. Also i reached out through the support email on toparchery's website and havnt gotten a response for weeks. Wouldn't recommend buying anything from them.

Love this bow!
I really love this bow. It’s beautiful, exactly as pictured, lightweight and shoots very smooth. Mine did not arrive prestrung and was a bit difficult to string due to the deep recurve style but not impossible. I’ve only shot with it for a few hours so I can’t make any comments on its durability yet, but it feels sturdy. The string does make a noise when pulled back (I think some other buyers thought they were hearing a cracking sound) but it’s definitely the string rubbing against the wood. I’m not a hunter, so I don’t care about the noise. The string itself seems like it’s very good quality and has a wonderful twang to it. (Update: I rubbed some plain beeswax into the string loops and it no longer makes a noise when drawing back. You can get a small block of pure beeswax from your local honey grower or health food market. I paid $1.99 ea.) Accuracy depends on many factors that have more to do with arrow quality and archer ability, so I think it’s inappropriate to rate the accuracy of the bow. I’m very happy with my purchase. Prime shipping was on time. I got many compliments at the 3D shoot.

It's beautiful, but be weary.
It's a beautiful bow, but I've now made it a decorational wall piece due to the upper string rest slipping each time I draw on it. Been stung several times in the face by the slip, even after making sure I've strung it snuggly and correctly.
