Giving This Table a BUY!
I am glad I purchased this brand of light table as it's of excellent quality and easy to use once I got the hang of the variable light settings which are made through the on/off button. It was a little heavier than expected but is extremely portable and solid. I have found it perfectly capable of being bright enough to penetrate all of the art papers I've placed on top of it so far, watercolor in particular, and my primary intended use was for copying or enlarging existing images for reproduction and incorporation into other pieces of artwork. I could do this as easily with my Wacom Cintiq, but this type of tablet gets quite warm, uses a good deal of energy, and is expensive for this purpose. Using a light table such as this will free me from my desk to work more easily and save wear and tear on this pricey product! Ruler markings on the edges of the table are a handy inclusion.I purchased a second clip for this table not knowing it came with one, but that's okay, it never hurts to have a spare. I will not be reviewing it separately as I will cover that here. It's not like a binder clip at all but slides on the edge of the table and has a protective strip so as not to scratch the plastic. You need to slide paper underneath the clip and I do not believe you can place thick or several pieces of paper under it easily. This is where a separate clip might come in handy. I have also purchased large binder clips which I've modified with thin self-adhesive felt along the contact inside edge to protect the table. This will allow me to combine and compose more than one piece of art into one.The reason I went with this particular company is that I know they make quality digital art tablets for compositing which rival Wacom at an affordable price point! It's because of the research I did on other products by Huion that I felt confident in this purchase. It gets great review ratings as does this light table, and with good reason... it's deserved. I'm giving it a thumbs up and recommend it to anyone looking for a nicely made product of this nature. You may spend a little more for it, but remember that the cheap often reveals itself to be expensive in the long run. Keep up the great work Huion, I can see your company is working to offer quality at reasonable pricing which helps the home artist, and this touches my heart in a very good way.

I certainly love it so far!
5 stars so far. I ordered this yesterday for $95 and paid the overnight shipping to get it today, which I just did around 2:00 pm EST. First, I would like to say, please don't let negative reviews sway you from getting this if it is what you want. I received mine in perfect shape.1) The first thing I looked at was the cord - so many people have complained about the shortness of this. Let me tell you, mine is so long that I used my yardstick to measure it, doubled the cord in half, and still it was longer than the yardstick. So, in a sense, the cord I received is over 6 feet long. Maybe they have listened to all the complaints about a short cord, because the one I received is certainly not short.2) I checked the on/off/illumination button, because some people have complained about the operation of this. With mine, first you touch it briefly and it turns on at the highest brightness. Then when I started testing it, turning it up and down, when I hold my finger on it, it turns up or down (the opposite of what it did the time before - in other words, if I last turned it down, then the next long touch turns it up, and the next turns it down, and so on.) After playing with the "up and down" I touched it briefly to turn it off. It does not immediately stop shining, what it does is, it turns down it's brightness until it is off. I tested it to make sure it was off, and not at the lowest brightness, by unplugging it. It was definitely off. So maybe some people expect it to immediately turn off, I don't know. When I turned it back on, it climbed from dark to light. I think the way this works, perhaps, is that if you have moved it from the full brightness, then it turns down slowly until it is off, and turns on slowly until it is the brightness level that you left it at. So I guess that is how it works in order to turn it back to what level you left it at.3) I notice in the picture representing the item, that the name, Huion, is printed on the lighted area in black. I kinda worried about this a bit, but figured I could deal with that. However, when I received mine, I was pleased to see that the word Huion was printed in white on the black border instead! This helped to ease my OCD and I am very happy about that! Here is a picture so you can see the long cord and the Huion name

Fabulous light box. Easy to use and very good light!
Fabulous light box. Easy to use and very good light! I am taking watercolor lessons, and while I continue to do my value study sketches freehand, I wanted a light box to be able to draw my sketch onto the watercolor paper without much erasing. This light box makes that possible. I love it!

Makes other brand(s) feel like pricey crap!
I took a while before I wrote this review (I don't write many reviews - only ones that really excel or crap-out). I am hole-heartedly impressed with this. At nearly half the price as the similar sized one from Art O'Graph, much thinner, way brighter, yadda, yadda, yadda, you can't go wrong with this one. It doesn't have the aluminum frame so it can be thinner than a pencil. It has uniform lighting and ALSO HAS A DIMMER!!! It is a touch-dimmer, so it can be dropped so you can adjust to get the right amount of toplight. the 23.5" can support a 11"x17" with room at the bottom for your wrist/palm (nice, so your hand doesn't feel like it's falling off a cliff). This thing gets bright enough to shine thru 2 pieces of 2-ply Bristol and still be bright. The ONLY complaint that i'd have is there is no off switch, so I simply unplug it. It's light enough to swap off of my drawing board, but thin enough to not have to take it off than much. The Art O'Graph has a bit of a lip around the frame; this one doesn't. The face is a flat piece of acrylic, so rulers won't be problems. You can even use a T-Square on it (like the C-Thru JR18. Take the Nestea plunge and just buy one!
