I was going to be heartbroken if I had to let my old fridge go and it lives on because of this part! I didn't install the motor but the fan was an easy replacement and for the price I have a backup motor. Thumbs up!

I compared my fan motor to the one in the pic. They matched so I ordered it. The one I got did not have the electric terminals down one side like the pic, but 2 on one side and 1 on the other. This made one wire in my existing harness too short to reach the terminal. I used one male and one female spade connector and about 5 inches of wire to make a jumper and now it works. Boxed was crushed on arrival, motor mount arms bent. Straightened it all out and made it work.

Unlike one buyer who was able to make his own jumper wire to accommodate this".Same on mine .. I had to make jump wire to make this work...Quality... Probably made in china....My Refrigerator worked fine for 30 years without major problem.Hope this one works for next 10 years.... LOL...

It fit my refrigerator perfectly just be sure to put fan blades in the exact place as the old motor shaft.

I put this in my Whirlpool refrigerator from 1994 and it was... plug in and go!Will this motor last another 30 years??? I tend to doubt it, but I am pleased with it working now.The original fan motor was making a bit of noise, occasionally. I removed it and drilled holes in the wick pots and then replenished the electric motor oil in the reservoirs. Even though I felt no discernable looseness in the bearings and the motor spun freely, my lubrication did not fix 30 years of neglect. A day later the old motor started to make, on and off noise.I hope this new motor gives a few years of service.

Did not fit my whirlpool fridge. Looks very similar but DONT buy unless you are very good at taking things apart. Specifically had to cut the fan blades as the old fan would not fit shaft and fan included was too big. Side support arms were not adjustable and had to take old arms off from bad fan and swap out arms from new fan. When I did this fan did not spin freely anymore and it worked with some tweaking BUT probable not for long. Ground fitting on motor had to be cut off and rewired as it was different size. GOOD LUCK

It wasn't quite the same. I had to modify the pig tail on my refrigerator to make it work. Wires just bearly reached because the connections were on the opposite side. But it is working good.
