Easy to set up, does the job

I got this universal Samsung TV remote, and it works great. .The buttons are responsive, and the clear font lasts over time. Its compact design is easy to use, with no setup needed.It covers all functions of the original remote and offers good transmitting distance. Overall, a reliable replacement!

My regular Samsung remote for my ancient Samsung is pretty rubbish. You need to point it at a very specific part of the tv, on the bottom right, and usually need to press buttons around three times, to make the tv respond.This cheap, generic, no-name remote costing less than £4, worked perfectly straight out of the box. It did not need to be accurately pointed at a specific part of the tv and responses to button presses were instant.My Samsung tv is one of those old 3D models, so the original remote has a dedicated 3D button whereas this generic remote doesn’t. It’s not really a big loss though as I haven’t watched a 3D movie in years and don’t really intend to (if I really wanted to, I’m sure I could find the 3D option in one of the tv’s settings).It’s made of very cheap and flimsy plastic and if you drop it, it will probably break. You won’t care though. At this price, you’ll probably just order another.

Our original Samsung TV remote stopped working so bought this to try. It works perfectly fine (so far) but does feel very cheap and the buttons are very close together. However, it does the job so cannot complain, especially for the price!

Finally after 7 years my old Samsung remote gave up the ghost with the centre selection button stopping working. Thought it'd cost £20 or £30 to find a decent replacement but found this one for a fiver. Reviews were all good so took the chance and bought it. It doesn't come with batteries but that's a minor point. As soon as I received it I just put in two new AAA's and it worked first time. I highly recommend this, it's basically exactly like the original and works straight out of the box.

Hit and miss with my Samsung TV. For no reason the buttons sometimes just don’t work when you use them and then other times work ok. Changed batteries to be sure. Not great expected more from Samsung

Arrived quickly just need to add batteries ( not included) works great with the TV no need to set it up switch on and go only thing I can see is you can't change brightness etc but apart from that it's a great remote control
