I've always been a Tampax girl and always go to the plastic. I have switched to a menstrual cup but I like having these as a backup when I'm not feeling the cup. It's just nice to have stored away when your body decides to surprise you :D.These are not leakproof though. When you go #1, that's going to create the "like follows like" and that's how you end up leaking. So you have to pull the string aside BEFORE you go so it stays dry..which is a PAIN. So...just buy liners and you're fine. But it's very irritating that we've not come up with better fixes than shoving some cotton inside ourselves.

These are literally the only tampons I’ll buy. They’re a bit more expensive when compared to generic but the fact they’re resealable so you can put the used applicator back inside and seal it closed is a hugeeee part as to why I continue to repurchase them. The applicator itself is “smooth” too…NOTHING like the terrible cardboard ones..I’ll never understand how anyone can use those. The part you hold when inserting it is so much easier to hold vs the other brands since it kind of curves inward. I’ve purchased every size variation and as long as you don’t wait until it’s too full they don’t leak.
