I’ve been using the EIGHTREE Smart Plugs (2-pack) with Home Assistant and Alexa, and they work really well across both platforms. Setup was smooth, and they connect reliably over my 2.4GHz WiFi. I especially appreciate the ability to control and automate these plugs through Home Assistant, which adds powerful customization beyond the standard app. The timer functions and remote control make managing my devices super easy. Overall, a solid and affordable choice for anyone using Home Assistant or Alexa! The small size also is great so you can still access the other outlet.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price was great for four smart outlets. They work amazing and connected so easy to both the app and our Google home. Would definitely reccomend

Only connected 1 so far. Connects great & easy to Alexa. But if you Don't use Alexa, you will need to download another control app on your phone, because these devices will not properly load into other (tried - Kasa & Smart Life). The Kasa did not load this device at all. The Smart Life app loaded this device, but would not allow scheduling (time-of-day) to function....just countdown timers. Kinda useless if we have to use a different control app every time we change our smart outlets. Besides all this, it seemed to be fine. Once again just lots of wasted time

I purchased these smart plugs for use with Alexa and Google Home, and I’m very satisfied with how easily they set up and integrate with my existing smart home devices. The connection to Wi-Fi was straightforward, and the plugs respond quickly to app and voice commands. I really appreciate the remote control and timer options—makes managing everyday appliances so much more convenient. These were a great value for a 4-pack, and I bought them more than once!

Unfortunately not compatible with my 3rd party controller, but the app is fantastic and pairing is a breeze. In the winter we used it to cycle a heater on a schedule and my partner uses it to cycle power on a wax pot that can only be shut off by unplugging the cable.
