Q: Is this an already made model ?

nope, it is an injection plastic model kit. It doesn't require glue and every single part comes already of the its final color. Included in the box you'll also find some decals and stickers for the eyes and other very small details. The only tools you'll need are nippers and an ultra fine file. You snap the pieces from the plastic sprue and clean a bit with the file (or a sharp knife) then you just follow the building manual which is completely illustrated with pictograms. Every piece has a code with a letter + a number so it's almost impossible to get it wrong even if this is your first experience. Once assembled, it is perfectly articulated.

Q: I am considering getting into building Gunpla, how hard is it to understand the instructions

The instructions are multi page and very precise, though some thought is needed on very rare occasions. They are hard work in building the subassemblies but once all together the effort is worthwhile. The hard work pays off with the sheer posability of these kits, the joints have free movement yet stick at the desired pose due to the use of polycaps which raises the bar with these kits. They also clip together brilliantly which again adds to the building ease. A real joy to build and collect.

No, it does not come with a stand. When it comes to HGs there's veeeeeeery few that come with one.
