I’ve been taking desiccated liver for over 20 years and I bought from many different places. I prefer capsules to tablets as they don’t have binding agents and fillers and therefore are much easier to digest. This particular brand doesn’t put in any binders, fillers or other unnecessary junk.These are also the best value desiccated liver pills you can get in the UK. I always buy the 500 capsules.As this is a food, you need to be taking large quantities so 10 pills at breakfast and 10 with your evening meal. Consider this, if you were to have cooked liver for your dinner, would you only eat half a teaspoon?Bodybuilders during the fifties to eighties would be taking 60 to 80 of these per day. Arnold Schwarzenegger said he used to take around 80 per day. You’ll be wasting time and money if you take less than 10 per day. He won’t notice any difference, in my opinion. When you take a minimum of 10 per day, you will notice you will have more energy, improved recovery times and better sleep. You will also have better hair skin and nails. Anyone concerned about having too much iron need not worry as this is in the natural form of haemoglobin iron. Your body recognises this so taking 10 to 20 per day would be impossible to overdose. I highly recommend, but you can make your own evaluation.

Was scared of some side effects of some sort but there was nothing like that. I take other supplements so I take just one of this. There is no odour or after taste. Makes me sleep well and when I am up, it helps me stay very active. Exactly what I wanted.

Seems to work fine - I don't know what to look for.If taking meds, consult doctor first as some meds metabolize by the liver.

This is the second tub I have bought. I started using them as I knew beef liver was exceptionally high in minerals and beef liver tablets have been used by weightlifters and bodybuilders for decades. I like a piece of actual liver fried in butter but these tablets/capsules are very convenient. If I ate liver every day I think I'd get scunnered with it eventually so these are great option to get the benefits of liver and without the washing up too.They do have a bit of taste but that's probably to be expected but they are very easy to swallow. I will definitely continue to buy these as I think they are of benefit to me in my strength & conditioning training and in providing a lot of the minerals required to help my bones stay strong after suffering osteoporosis due to an illness and medication. A story I won't bore you with.I am keen to try some of the other products made by Berserker.Good product. Recommended.
