I find this brand so much better. It can be used with other natural ingredients for home cleaning, for personal hygiene, use that is often found in YouTube videos, in addition for culinary use. It's always useful having a carton of this around.

I read that after WW1, Spanish Flu was rife. Many people avoided its ravages by taking bicarb of soda....in US known as baking soda ( not baking powder). The idea is that you alkalize your body, which has become very popular in health circles nowadays anyway with all these alkaline food diets. The recommendation handed out after the Great War was, on feeling cold or flu symptoms, on the first day take half a teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in a glass of water, every two hours, six times a day. The next day take half a teaspoon in water every two hours, four times a day. The next day take it three times every two hours, then the next day twice every two hours and finally on the sixth day just take the one half- teaspoon in water. I have tried this twice now and seem to have kicked a sore throat/flu like virus in a day. Of course you still need to get medical help if you carry on feeling unwell. It is just an alternative to taking over the counter medications such as Lemsip. BON SANTE

I've been keto for 6 months and have started intermittent fasting and following Cole Robinson's Snake Juice Diet (basically hardcore fasting). This is much better quality and does not contain the extra nasties you can get with supermarket baking soda (bicarbonate of soda).Snake Juice / Electrolyte powder recipe:Potassium chloride =1 tspSodium chloride (Himalayan Pink Sea Salt) = 1/2 tspSodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda - I use Red Mill) = 1 tspMagnesium Sulphate (food grade Epsom Salts) = 1/2 tspMixed in 2 litres of water.I don't get constipated, I avoid keto flu and I'm more able to do extended fasts as I'm replacing the electrolytes lost. Product took a couple of days to arrive.

i chose this product because it's natural and mined out of this wonderful God given planet we live on and are so obviously part of.it's taste is so much milder and pleasant than commercial baking sodas. it's well worth the cost. will buy again.

this product it's definitely the one I have been really amaze about, I drink it, wash my bathroom with, my daughter had a mark on her new jacket and I wash it three time and nothing could help, when I used the baking soda I was so happy and couldn't believe it, sometime when I don't want tospend time cleaning the cooker, I just put some water and baking soda and leave it for couple of hour and done. I love this product and recommend it to everyone, family friend, neighbors, colleague

Really great quality, more expensive in the UK but well worth the money
