Q: Is the safari playset difficult to assemble?

It is very easy to assemble. A lot easier than some of their other playsets

Q: What is the size or height scale of the man and truck? thank you. Will they work with 1/18 scale or 3.75 in. figures?

I don't have it in front of me, but I estimate the truck is probably about a foot long and 6 inches tall, and the man is probably 3.5-4 inches tall.

Q: Can this be used in sand or will it wreck it?

I don't think I would. too many nooks and crannies that would have to be cleaned. I'd stick to inside, but that's just me.

Missing piece

Set came without crane. My son was disappointed. As it was an important part of this set I had to return it, and we did not order another one. Overall we did not feel it was a good value for money.
