Q: Could this product cause my previously clear water to go slightly white cloudy?

I purchased this a bit hasty, i only use seachem as the products seem to work. I used this for about a month and noticed hardly a difference. Then i notice seachem Matrix, after using the Matrix Nitite has stayed at 0 and has got my nitrate down by 5-10ppm.

Q: is this okay for a freshwater temperate tank?

According to the bottle it works for marine and freshwater aquariums.

Q: I have an internal filter with a spray bar. Can I put this in a mesh bag and tie it to the spray bar (so it gets water flowing through it)?

Yes you can, however this will dampen down the water turbulence..

Q: Can I use this product with plants or will it take away the nitrate they need to grow?

yes you can use it with plants . the plants should get every thing they need from the fertiliser
